Is the power for the RGB provided via the usb and sata through the icue controller? My fans run and the icue software recognizes my controller but no lights.

The included compact iCUE Lighting Node CORE is used to control lighting for up to six CORSAIR RGB fans via CORSAIR iCUE software, with simple USB 2.0 and SATA connections.

What type of cables are included in the triple fans kit?

This is the older pre Link design. Each fan has a standard Fan Header and a Corsair “proprietary” RGB connection (you can adapt this to not be proprietary) the controller has an internal USB header cable and a Sata power connection. The fans ideally connect to the controller directly and are then controlled by iCue.

It says triple fan kits so most likely is 3 fans for the price listed ...
