Will this work with LGA1150? thanks!! :D

I recently bought this water cooler for my new LG1150 mobo built but cpu backplate doesn't match what's on the LG1150 socket mobo mounting holes. Although it is supposed to be compatible but mine didn't fit. I am not sure if the manufacture didn't supply the right size backplate but I had to RMA this thing with $9 restocking fee and return postage $13.50. So buyer beware of this issue! If other people had successfully installed this cooler to LG1150 socket, I am a victim of wrong part in the package. And there was no way for me to request just that wrong part if that was the case.

Question 3

Is it possible to obtain AMD mounting hardware for this cooler? I thought I read that you could email the rma department and they would send out the bracket, but it appears I was looking at another cooler. HALP!

I've seen replies through the reviews that you can e-mail Corsair customer support and they'll send you AMD brackets. Contact them ahead of time though, don't order the cooler before you do so.

What power connector does this product have?

It has two standard fan headers. One to run the pump, and one to run the fan on the radiator. I hope this helps. If you do not know what a standard fan header looks like just search computer fan plug. Hope this was helpful.

I have a 4670k overclocked to 4.5 ghz.  Will this cooler be good or should I get a more expensive one?

This cooler works great for its intended purpose but I am unsure if it is designed with overclocking in mind and I am unsure of it full cooling potential.  With that said since you are overclocking you can't be too careful and if I was overclocking I'd get the best cooler I could find even if it was more expensive.  I recommend checking the specifications and cooling potential of this cooler and comparing them to the temperatures that your CPU reaches.

Will this work with a LGA 1150 and on my motherboard MSI H81M-P33 LGA 1150 and will fit in my case Deepcool teseract red?

Yes, the LGA 1155 / 1156 / 1150 sockets share the same mounting holes. I used this cooler on a i3 build just to test it out and it works perfect.

I think that this cooler would fit. I have my H50 installed with two Arctic Cooler 120mm fans (one on each side ...push-pull configuration) and I have no problems in my Ultra Aluminus build (used by guests). It should mount just as easy as installing a rear fan.

is this is a stand alone cooling system for the cpu? will this work if the whole pc isn't water cooled?

Yes it is a standalone system just need to install on cpu and case and it will take care of any cpu cooling needs. No other parts are needed to run except some good chip paste I think it comes with some but not sure of quality.

I recall there being some on there, much like the heat sinks that come with processors. I'd still recommend getting some of your own though to replace it with. Especially since mounting the water block in the bracket can sometimes be a little touchy and you might have to replace the paste anyway to try again.
