Yes. the 260X requires only 1 6 pin power connector, while as the TX650 has 2 8 (that can be turned into 6 pins x2 by using the little clip) pins for high end graphics cards. It will work fine.

Whenever i turn on my system the fan spins, then stops, whenever i play games, the fan still doesnt spin. Shouldnt it be spinning all the time.? please help

No. It only turns on when its hot and needs the fan. If it's not turning on you just have a cool system.

Would this work with an HP Pavilion p7-1420t desktop? I'm looking to upgrade my hardware and I need a bigger PSU. Also, would this be enough to handle a SAPPHIRE Ultimate Radeon HD 6670 1GB video card?

Absolutely.  We are using it for an Nvidia 660 GTX TI which is going to consume more power.  We've had great results so far on a PC my son built.

If I remember correctly, the 8 pin connector is actually (2) 4 pins linked together. You just separate them and use the one instead of both - I remember having the same question and only using half the connector.

Power supplies work in many different machines, we match them to the machine based on power usage of the motherboard, Cpu power demands, connectivity, and discrete video card power demands.  The best answer for your Pavilion question is to ask a tech at HP.  HP should know of the power usage of a particular model.  I will tell you that for me I generally go at least 150 watts above the recommendation.

Yah let me check I have the box here.  1atx cable 24-pin.  1 eps 12v cpu cable.   2 pci-e. Cable.   8sata. Cable.     8 peripheral cable. 2floppy 101mm cable.  Go to pcpartpicker dot com.    select this cooler and the computer case you want if it is compatible it will say so.   Best site  there is.   I hope this helps!!
