does this come with 2 fans like in pic or 1 ?

2 fans, so you can run it in a push-pull configuration. Works wvery well. Never see temps above 35-40C under full load. 30-32 medium load.

Overall worth the money. I don't have the money to drop on a custom LC system and this does the trick just fine. Very buggy, lots of bad units shipped out. Mine had some weird light and fan control things happening and I thought the unit was malfunctioning, but besides those things it cools like a champ. If you're unlucky and get a crappy one, just return it, but if you get a good unit it's VERY much worth the money. Great concept, good product. Overall love all things corsair.

IF that was more than you wanted to know, I apologize, but I spent like 2 months being back and forth on this damn thing, and finally went for it, and it was in fact worth it, even with the issues.

Question 2

What kind of maintenance does this unit require? Will I have to change liquid or hoses at some point?

The maintenance level on the self-contained hydro loops are pretty minimal.  You won't have to replace hoses or flush and replace the liquid.  All that needs to be done is cleaning dust from the radiator and fan(s).

Will this fit an LGA 1150 socket?

Absolutely.  Last build was at the end of October and I used this cooler with a 4770k I7 LGA1150 with an Asus z87 Motherboard.  No issues Cooler does the trick for my application.  Idle temps are around 27-32C.  Hope this helps, Good luck with your build.

why has my logo turned red????

The color depends on how you have the Corsair link software configured. For instance i have my system setup to turn the corsair logo red when the pump temp exceeds 40 degrees Celsius. You can also have the software randomly change the logo's colors so it's hard to determine why your logo is red but i could mean that your system is hot.

I see it says AM3 support but what about AM3+ for my 8350?

Would those who complained of noisy fans and have since found better after-market ones please post your recommendations?

I have an Antec 1200 that has 5 120mm fans as well as a 160mm fan plus the 2 fans from the water block. Oh, I should add that both of my video cards each have 2 fans themselves and yes I can hear the fans but I sit with my head a foot away from it. After about ten minutes next to it I got use to all the fans. I record videos for YouTube and the fans do not interfere at all.

All in all, great cooler and I would buy 100 times over.

My question is can you use different fans with this product?

Absolutely!  The holes align with standard 120mm fans. The packaged fans are not bad at all though. I am only using one fan to save room in my box: CPU temp dropped 10 C on average and that's after turning off 2 chassis fans and dropping the other 4 chassis fans from 100% to 25%.  Nice and quiet and cool. I'm loving this product!

Question 9

In the advertising Newegg states this will fit an 1150 motherboard. I purchase the item to use on the 1150 and after opening the box I found this isn't correct. I have been in Afghanistan and was unable to open the box till passed the 30 days. I want to exchange the item because it was stated that it would fit. Now because of the false advertisement I'm stuck with the motherboard and unable to return it.

All I'm asking is that I can exchange it for one that fits my motherboard. Please notify me if this is possible or not?

Not sure you are asking the right question.  The motherboard shouldn't have much to do with the install (except for finding the right connector).  This cooler can be difficult to install in a case without much room since 2 fans and the radiator need to be installed inside back to back.  It needs to replace an existing fan or a fan opening for 120 mm fan.

I replaced the case fan on the back of my case and it took quite a bit of room.  I could have mounted on the side but then would need to deal with it every time I needed to open the box.

If you have a micro atx case you are more than likely going to find it very difficult to install.  Much will depend upon the amount of room you have after all parts are installed.

Question 10

does it come with thermal paste? or do you have to buy some to apply

This does come with preapplied thermal paste.  The brand is usually decent, but like with most preapplied pastes, there is too much. If you're familiar with applying thermal paste I would take the pre installed off and use some Artic Silver.
