Does the corsair logo light up?

I was wondering the same thing before I purchased my H60. No, the corsair logo does not light up. However, the cooling performance has been phenomenal.

Will this fit a Socket LGA 1150 ? I am looking online and it says on their Website it will but other reviews says it does not ?

Yes it will. I use it on my i5-4670k and it works perfect. Just make sure to tighten the 4 screws down tight on the water black. My first attempt I had high temps but then I tighten down the screws and it was good.

Question 3

Does this water cooler have problems of leaking? because I have always been interested in water cooling but i've always read review saying that some water coolers leak on computer parts. Especially with this one. Is this cooler any worth trying out or will it fry my computer parts?

I have had mine installed for about 5 months now with absolutely no issues.  I was hesitant too at first, as this was also my first attempt at water cooling.  I can tell you that this setup is very well made, and incredibly easy to install.  The unit is an enclosed system, so you never have to fill it, and it comes pre-filled.  I am very happy with this unit, and it has worked very well since I installed it.  It has not once leaked in my case, and doesn't show any signs of wear.

Question 4

Does this product HAVE to mounted on the rear exhaust fan or can it be mounted elsewhere like on the top case fan mounts?

Hi Caleb,

Since the cooler comes with it's own fan, it can be mounted wherever you like, bearing in mind that mounting location(s) will be limited by the length of the coolant hoses.

I've been using this since 2013, and it's been a great, trouble free cooler. I can't imagine ever going back to a heat sink/fan combo for CPU cooling. It does need to be periodically cleaned of dust, like any cooler, but it's quiet, works well, and is dependable.....and the price is decent.

Question 5

So i have no clue about water cooling. Do I need a reservoir to actually use this?

No reservoir is required. You won't need to add or replace any water at all. The water is already contained in the pump. I built my first computer using the H60. I had no idea what I was doing, but it was very easy to hook up. It has worked great for me the last couple years. I bought it for the silent operation because I do a lot of recording with microphones. It's dead quiet. I plan on building another. Hope that helps.

I am building my first pc? Can anyone tell me if the instructions for the h60 will be detailed enough to get a first time builder through the installation? I was also wondering how I will know how tight to screw down the cooler onto the cpu without damaging the pins? If I use the stock intel cooler it looks like it just snaps into place on its own?

The instructions are pretty descriptive, so you should be fine.  The main thing to focus on as you're installing is the direction that you have the hoses coming from to avoid crimping them or interfering with other wires, fans, etc.  There's no "right way" to do this, it just depends on your overall setup.

As far as how tight to screw things down, you don't want to really crank them, or you run the risk of damaging the treads.  Just use normal pressure, and tighten them like you would lugs nuts on a car (diagonally across from each other).  Once you have them all tightened, try to move the cooler using a slight twisting motion.  If it doesn't move, then you're good to go.

Question 7

Would it be better to mount the fan to where its pushing the air out or pulling the air out? Is there a difference in temperatures or is it just a matter of preference?

There is a HUGE difference in temperature when compared with the stock Intel fan/heatsink assembly.  Even after a couple of hours of gaming my CPU never gets above 50 degree C.  In my build, I have the radiator/fan assembly mounted to the front of the case and pushing air out the back.  The combination with the exhaust fan creates a very nice circulation of air that removed the majority of heat from the case.  This really is a great product for a midrange watercooler

I've read a lot of bad reviews about it leaking and fan not spining fast enough. I'm interested in purchasing, but I would like to know if it's worth it? There are a lot of good reviews and bad reviews. Should I stick with a heatsink fan?

Depends what processor you're running. I chose this product because I'm running an amd fx8350. Amd tends to run hot. I love my h60. I haven't had a single issue with it. I've had it for about a year now so I hope it continues to do well for a few more.

Question 9

I have a thermal take commander ms-i, the room in the case is tight. I'm worried if it will fit. Does anybody have any information? Thanksw

I am not familiar with your existing heatsink/fan.  I have a Phanteks - and it's a monster.... It fit ok inside my Antec 900 case, but very tight.  I would guess that if your case is 8.5" wide, there should be room.

If you were wondering about the H60, I don't think it is worth the hype.  It is small, it improves case airflow over the bulky heatsinks, and it's quiet.  But, the cooling properties appear to be inferior.  The lines stay cool, but I don't think the motor/pump in the CPU block circulates well enough.  I am tempted to build my own with a standard water block using external pump.

Question 10

Will this work with the new 6700k which is LGA 1151?

Yes you can. I'm typing this from a computer using an Intel Core i7 6700K (LGA 1151) which is using this water cooler. It works perfectly. You just need to set the adjustable bolts on the backplate to the closest position to the center and it will fit perfectly. LGA 1151 uses the same mounting mechanism as the supported LGA's 1155 and 1150.
