Corsair Hydro Series, H60 2018 (CW-9060036-WW), 120mm Radiator, Single 120mm PWM Fan, Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: As is normal with Corsair water coolers, installation is quick and easy. Just take off the old cooler, install the mounting bracket (will most likely need to remove the motherboard from your case unless your case has a cutout), remove the cover protecting the thermal paste and screw the cooler down and connect the power cords. I've been using an H110i in my system to cool my overclocked 6700K CPU for over a year now. Replacing it temporarily with the H60, I only saw a 5-13 degree increase for almost half the price. While the H110i dropped the temps significantly from the stock cooler, The H60 is surprisingly rather good for the price. Quiet. You won't hear this thing unless you have your case open and sitting right next to you. While not RGB, the white LEDs on the cooler look great, as does the rest of the cooler. 5-year warranty!

Cons: Honestly, nothing. If I had to pick something though, I'd just suggest for Corsair to make the white LED's RGB in the next version and link it with iCUE.

Overall Review: The H60 is easy to recommend! If you don't need the absolute best cooling, you can cut your cost compared to their highest models and still get top notch cooling.

Pros: Installed this Corsair CPU cooler on a 7th Gen Intel i5 and it ran flawlessly. The installation was fairly easy. There's nothing weird that you MUST install or things of that nature. It's pretty straightforward even if you've never installed a radiator to your CPU before. It does come with brackets for both AMD and Intel CPU's and will fit CPU's that are much older too. The super flexible rubber tubing made installation a lot easier because I had to put them through some weird angle holes in my case. Luckily it bent perfectly without squeezing them so tight there was no airflow coming through them. Thanks for including those, Corsair. After that, mounting the 120mm fan to the top was a breeze. The unit itself is pretty solid. The materials, rubber, metal, etc., didn't bend or warp meaning quality materials that were used to make this CPU cooler. On top, it slightly illuminates a white glow from the built-in LED. I found them to be useful because now the middle of my PC tower has some light so I can see through the plexiglass a little better. I'm glad they didn't overpower the LED - at night time the light is subtle and doesn't shine too bright. I did wish there was a controller, either hardware or software, to control it so I can turn it on or off when I wanted to. It's even quieter than my stock fan CPU heatsink/cooler. As opposed to the stock CPU heatsink where I can hear it wind up when I start my computer and when it's really quiet around my desk. With the Corsair H60, I couldn't hear a thing coming from my computer. This is great! Lastly, it comes with enough pre-applied thermal paste on the bracket where it comes in contact with the CPU.

Cons: No true CONS...just wish they would let you turn on/off the LED lights, that's all.

Overall Review: This CPU cooler is great but not meant for heavy overclocking. If you don't overclock your CPU, like me, this cooler does a great job cooling your CPU without any issues at all and it's super quiet at the same time. One thing to keep in mind, do check your motherboards as there's not a lot of extras included in the box. Fortunately, I didn't run into issues, but I'm sure someone will need a longer screw or zip ties for their installation. My overall assessment of the Corsair Hydro H60 is a positive one. The installation on the Intel i7 went without a hiccup. The included thermal paste was appreciated. It cooled and kept my CPU's temperature low while handling tasks such as when I played Tom Clancy's Siege and other games, while I was working with Premiere, Photoshop and other programs, watching videos and/or surfing the web. The white LED's are not too bright even at night time and adds a nice glowy feeling to it. At this price point, I think it's one of the best bang for your buck CPU coolers out there. I recommend this Corsair Hydro H60.

Pros: Corsair Hydro Series are really some of the best AIO’s on the market. I have been using Corsair Hydro Series for many years now, almost as soon as they first hit the market, every revision just seems to get better looking and better revisions of the Corsair fans. I really love the new SP Series PWM 120mm fans, they move a lot of air and are very quiet, and the radiator has a nice modern style to it; also it has the form and function.

Cons: I really cannot think of anything bad to say about the Corsair Hydro, H60 the price is great and looks beautiful.

Overall Review: The system I put the Corsair Hydro H60 in is my i7-4770k @ 4.2MHZ @ 1.232 and idles @ 36 degrees C. and under load goes up around 71 degrees c. I think that’s really good for a single 120mm radiator. The new (CW-9060036-WW) just looks beautiful, the white LED is subtle and looks fantastic, and will blend in with any color your build may be. Corsair’s Hydro Series has an excellent 5 year warranty. I almost always find myself buying Corsair products, especially their power supply’s, I won’t buy anything else. The RMA process is so painless, I had to fill an RMA many years ago and it was so easy, and received the new product within 5 business days. Corsair is one of my favorite company’s. I know I am covered if I ever have any problems.

Pros: Hello, today I will be reviewing the CORSAIR H60. I would start with the fact that it’s a liquid cooling system that you don’t have to go and trim a tone of tubing and worry about leaking revivors or getting the right OD and ID fittings. It's basically a plug and play system so if you're new to liquid cooling this is the way to go. I have built several liquid cooling systems over the years and this by far is the easiest one. The 120mm fan is quiet and the socket bracket slipped right on with no fitting issues. Now I have read in some of the forums that AMD users sometimes have an issue with tight fits and the CPU bracket, I personally have not had this issue but like I said I have read about it. To me that is not a big deal, you simply keep working the bracket into place gently and it will get there. It really is a simple system and the install is very easy. Why would you want to do this over a full LCS “Liquid Cooling System”? Well, it's small and for those of you out there that like to build small micro ITX systems it's great! No tubs to cut, no fittings to seal G+R+E+A+T = Great!

Cons: I think the cooling block could be a bit larger, about 2 mm squared larger.

Overall Review: Would I get this for a small build - YES, would I get this for my first LCS - YES, would I get this for a new show unit “a PC that is full of lights and tubs to add a mystic feel to it” - NO, but overall for a fast and easy cooling system that will get you cooler than just the ambient air this is the way to go. Pros: This cooler is pretty straightforward to install and provides very good cooling for its price. Especially for its small size! The aesthetics are solid. The 2018 revision is a huge step up and I think it looks like quite the premium pc component when installed. The LED is a neutral white color and is evenly lit. The build quality is acceptable and hasn't let me down yet. I've had this for a month now and find its performance respectable, able to handle mild overclocking without getting too loud nor too hot. It is significantly better than a stock fan.

Cons: Unfortunately it seems there is controller for the LED, so you're stuck with it always on, so keep that in mind if you need to worry about brightness levels in dark rooms.

Overall Review: Adding a second fan for a push-pull configuration can make this purchase even better for your build.

Pros: -Very flexible rubber tubing, which makes for easy negotiating around the guts of a small chassis. -Decent CPU cooling performance. It’s overkill for anything under 90 Watts, and probably good to 115-120W. Beyond 120W, you may want to move up to a 240mm radiator, especially if overclocking. -Covers a broad range of AMD and Intel desktop sockets from the last 10+ years -Includes *most hardware needed, but see cons below, too. -The pump has a white LED backlight behind the Corsair logo. It adds a nice touch, I think, without being overly flashy. However, you cannot control the LED. -Price point makes it fairly competitive in the 120mm AiO market.

Cons: -The included PWM fan is okay for stock setups, but an underperformer for heavy loads. Adding a 2nd fan for push/pull made a world of difference in benchmark testing. The fan is only rated for 0.30 Amps, compared to some of my performance fans rated for over 1.5A -Something about the size of the radiator makes it incompatible with my Cooler Master Storm Scout 2 test setup. The radiator could not bolt directly to the chassis due to being well over 120mm in height, and therefore was making contact against the steel encasement above the top most PCIE slot. This resulted in having to mount the 120mm fan to the chassis first (creating a sort of standoff), and then the radiator was mounted to the fan. This is not an optimum setup, but it worked, and allowed me to add a 2nd fan to the opposite side of the radiator later on. -Beyond the pre-applied thermal paste, no extra was included in the kit. Better get the mount right the first time! -No additional extended fan screws included to do a push/pull configuration. Luckily, I had leftovers from another AiO kit. The results of adding the 2nd fan meant the difference between temperatures above 65C to being below 40C during Prime95 torture tests… in other words, a HUGE difference, proving the stock fan is sub-par.

Overall Review: -I’m not 100% the instructions are accurate. One of my benchtesting machines was a OEM HP motherboard for AMD A6-3620 processor (Socket FM1). In order to properly mount the pump, I had to utilize the pre-installed “Intel” bracket. I was baffled that the AMD bracket could in no way, shape, or form fit onto the OEM motherboard. The AMD thumbscrews were also unused, and instead required the LGA115X/1366 standoffs with thumbscrews and washers. Is this just some Frankenstein motherboard, or did Corsair screw up the docs?? Regardless, I had all the parts needed. -The pump requires two connections: a SATA power connector for 12v power, and a 3 or 4-pin motherboard header for tach. Pros: The Pump on this is a nice low profile design with a elegant white LED, adds a nice bit of class to my machine. The hoses have a nice smooth feel to them and don't look automotive-ish like the hoses on my H100i, but still maintain a quality feel. The radiator on this was one of the nicer feeling ones I have ever handled. Most of the radiators I've used, the fins had a harsh metal feel, this radiator felt nice and smooth. I was a bit worried when I saw this as it looked like it was Intel only, but checking out the manual I found that the brackets pop off and a switchable. It was easy enough to do, so I'll hold on to the AMD brackets for when I upgrade that 4670k to a Ryzen. Speaking of the manual, it was easy to read and well laid out. I really didn't need it other then seeing how to change between Intel and AMD brackets, but I found it well laid out. That said, it was easy to figure out to install on my 4670k + Gigabyte z97 Motherboard. Pop the Intel back plate on (after adjusting for the socket) and hand-tighten the pump on the CPU. Didn't get much more of an OC out of my mediocre 4670k (4.3Ghz), but it kept it cool and I didn't find the fan too loud in my case (EVGA DG-75). I liked that I was able to use this in push/pull and took advantage of it with an extra 120mm fan I had laying around, just wish Corsair tossed in some additional long Fan Screws. - Header cable on the included fan is a good length for any position in a standard ATX case.

Cons: Unsure how many times you can swap this between AMD and Intel machines before the base or connector plates wear out, though once installed it's solid as a rock. I wish Corsair threw in some additional long fan screws, so I wouldn't have to split two on the intake and two on the exhaust for Push/Pull on this. The other option would be to buy similar screws for Push/Pull. The SATA cable for power on this is short. You may need to get creative if you want to have a clean-look, but it's doable if you can snake the SATA up and behind the MoBo tray to a power lead. I do have to say, a SATA power cable twice as long would have been appreciated.

Overall Review: I've used Corsair for water-cooling for years and have yet to be disappointed. My Q6600 ran at 3.6Ghz daily thanks to a this water-cooler's great grandpa. It's good to see the H60 still around, and still working just as well. While I can't get much out of my 4670k, this AIO isn't holding it back. I dug up my old Q6600 and slapped this 2018 model on it and it was back to humming along at 3.6Ghz, like it was 2008 all over again. This is a great AIO with a wonderful legacy, I recommend it.

Pros: Desktops are no longer simply about performance nowadays --- they are also about aesthetics and extreme custom liquid cooling --- just like smartphones are no longer about performance, but mostly battery features. However, full custom liquid cooling maybe pushing it too far for a desktop computer. The H60 fits in most ATX cases, but not all of them where the rear space is fairly tight. If you have a tight case, you can make the fan to be in pulling mode instead of pushing mode. You will be compromised between usability and performance, while also making it a little bit user friendly where the fan is stuck in between the radiator and the rear vent. It is common knowledge that a single 120mm liquid cooler may not be able to outperform good air coolers. However, the idle temperature is much better than the stock cooler from AMD. It sits at 23C instead of 27C at normal room temperature in my air pulling configuration. There are many favorable reviews on the web for this H60 where the temperature got all the way up to 74C on full load for a highly overclocked Intel CPU. This is very good relative to other coolers. The AMD brackets are a little bit more involved than Intel’s. This is also true in stock cooling configurations. This is mostly a matter of manufacturing process rather than other reasons. Most things revolve around design and manufacturing process in the industry, while in the subject of science it is entirely about academics. Anything in between is harder to find. Most people know that the fan pulls air into the case from the front, then out to the back while also pulling air out at the top of the case. The H60 is no different than any others with regards to this basic principle. The H60 is one of the most quiet liquid coolers you can find in the market. This 2018 version looks much better than the previous version. The price is fairly reasonable relative to other liquid coolers. There are many good editorial reviews for this H60 on the web. If you have any common sense at all or whatsoever, desktop computers with liquid cooling will continue to exist indefinitely in the future, just like anything else that’s significant. You need to find unbiased reviews or info that helps the consumer, not the other way around. The design of this liquid cooler is fairly compact and comparable to others. Another advantage is the pre-installed thermal paste material that saves you hassle and money from potentially wrongly applied thermal paste that you bought yourself. Leaking thermal paste in upright position desktop applications is very much unwanted. AIO liquid cooling units like this are most appropriate for regular sized desktop cases that does not sit on the floor collecting dust. In general AIO liquid coolers looks better and has better space clearance compared to air cooled units in standard sized cases. The packaging also reflects the the size of this 120mm liquid cooler. In conclusion, this liquid cooling unit is highly refined for the best user experience in almost all of the computer cases, no matter how big or how small.
