Is this compatible with macbook pro late 2011?

Acording to Apple's web site this is the shipping spec for that model

?500GB or 750GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive; optional 750GB 5400-rpm hard drive or 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB solid-state drive

I'm pretty sure it is SATA-2 where it only lists SATA and that is what I'm running mine at. So the only other concern is with how it is mounted. This SSD is thinner than a normal laptop hard drive but still has all the same mounts. My HP TM2T  that I put mine in is held in place by some screws on the side mounts and to get it seated I have to prop up the one side while I'm sliding it into place. After that the mounts do their job.
