The description says its compatible with 6th gen Intel core processers, will it work on a 7th gen?

Yes. It will work on 6th/7th/8th gen or older even. The power supply will work with any standard x-ATX (mATX, ATX, EATX) motherboard. It supports the older 20-pin or modern 24-pin main power connector. This includes all current generations of motherboards supporting processors from AMD, Intel and others. You can check Corsair dot com for more details. But, yes, it will work.

I never bought a PSU of newegg, Does it come with the connector cords or do i have to buy seperate?

Has anyone else have had this power supply go out on them within 12 hours of running? Just went through one and don't know if I want another replacement or a different 750W supply. Thanks!

Is this a 3 rail power supply or is the question moot?

One +12V. It has 3-rails total which are 3.3V, 5.0V and 12V all on separate power rails. The single +12V rail supports 62.5 Amps which is plenty for an SLI or Crossfire dual graphics card setup. It also has a separate signal 5VSB and -12V rails in addition to the three main power rails. I hope this helps.

I'm about to upgrade a GPU and I have a bad Power supply and im going to get a RX5700Xt and I want to know if this PS would be the right one?

Most desktop configs will usually be okay with 650w. Your PSU is a 750w.  As long as you are not running multiple vids or overclocking, should be good. Corsair has a sizing page if you want to double check  www.corsair under psufinder for sizing

I don't know, but the first one I bought was DOA.  Corsair charged me to ship it back to them before they would send me a replacement.
