Does this product actually have 4 X 6+2 Pin connectors? I just need to be sure before ordering it.

yes it does, with a separate 8 pin. and the 6 pin can also be turned into an 8 pin cord. powers up my two cards processor 6 fans  and everything smoothly no problems et been two months will update later.

Question 2

Do I really need the 750W PSU for an AMD R9 280X card in an un-overclocked amd fx-8350 custom cpu, or can I squeak by with the 650W version?

Hey dude, Honestly.. For the price difference I'd just go with the 750. You'll never regret it.

Now for a little forward-thinking.. If you ever wanted to start mining currency or using that for more than gaming and wanted to add a second card or what-not it would be a good idea to go with a higher wattage supply in the HX series.

But to answer your question directly..

R9 280X - 257w
FX-8350 - 182w
Misc. Ish - 50w

Your peak usage will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 489w. So, the 650w supply would probably 'work', but like I said.. If you ever wanted to do more I'd hit up the 750w minimum, or an 850w or 1000w in the HX series as a maximum.

I bought this on June 2010 and I am about to upgrade my system to Z87 board with i5-4670K. Will this PSU work fine with new rig?

I used this for i7-930 for 3 years and worked great with HD 6950.

Question 4

I see that it was 2 6 pin connectors. I have a GTX card that requires a 8 pin and a 6 pin. Are the two pin connectors designed to support the 6 pin connectors so they can plug into an 8 pin port?
