This is going to sound really stupid but, will it work with an AMD processor?

Probably not actually. Look check to see what ram your chipset supports I.e. DDR3 or DDR4. This will work with Intel's Z170 and X99 platforms.

I already have 1 stick of 8 gigs, if I buy another single stick, will it work with the other?

as long as the one you already have is the same form factor and you have a second slot open it should work. I've got 3 different branded ram sticks in my machine.

Check your motherboard's ram compatibility list, but Ryzen uses DDR4 so this should work with it.

Will this work with a Gigabyte GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard?

Yes, although they may only run at 2133 mhz rather than their Max possible 2400 mhz. Side note: if you are using a K series processor, you will not be able to overclock using that board. But that's only a concern if you are using a processor model ending in K.

I read the motherboard compatibility list and I still want to double check: will this product be compatible with the Asus Prime B250-PLUS?  I know the MB can handle DDR4 2400 @ 1.4v at the most.

I myself am not sure but if you go to pcpartpicker-dot-com (external links are not allowed sorry) and go to "start a system build" on the top left, you can select the components you want to check comparability on and it will notify you with a yes or no.
