Does it have an activity light?

I don’t think it has, but I cannot say for sure.  Just never paid that much attention to it.  It works just fine and it’s fast when used on a USB 3.0 connection.

How reliable has the drive been for owners? Any malfunctions? I am wondering because I have seen a few people post that they had issues.

I've only had mine a few months, so I can't say my experience is typical or extensive, but I've had no problems with it so far. It's not quite as fast as I hoped - the specs on the speed may not be correct - but it's been reliable enough so far.

Will this fit on the back of an Apple AirPort Extreme? Thanks.

Yes.  Although, Apple does have a rather slow history of mainstream technology adoptions, which is why the port that is available is usb 2.0.  Fortunately, Apple has finally got usb 3.0 ports on most of their computer line now, so the speed of this will feel a lot faster if you have one of those of the current line.
