Question 1

I see there is a front filter.  Is there space and mounts for a front fan or is the back fan the only fan mount location?

Sorry a little late.  I built the PC for my old 96 years old neighbor who lives about an hour of driving away.  I didn't pay attention to this when I was doing it and he didn't request for additional fan.  He doesn't get a good hear so I didn't call.  I think you could. I had no problems with mounting an ATX motherboard in this case. The raised standoffs on the motherboard tray are functionally no different than the standard type. In fact, this type of standoff used to be very common in older cases.

Cable routing can be an issue, it can be done, you're just going to have to get creative. I managed to bundle left over cables from a Cougar PowerX 700 Watt by using zip ties on the extra PCIe cables not being used, tie them together tight and let them sit on the bottom of the case out of sight, the rest I routed behind the HDD trays and some are bundled and hidden in the extra space in the 5 1/4 bay area. It's a VERY tight fit, but like I said, it can be done.

Or you can just pick up a modular PSU and solve all your problems. =]

I did not have any real problems with the case, but I knew what I was getting into before I bought it, and I have a lot of experience using small and "cheap" cases for builds, since that's one area many customers don't want to spend a lot of money, unlike enthusiasts who will spend hundreds on a case.

A couple things to keep in mind...

The expansion bay covers on the back of the case are the old style punch out kind. You basically wiggle it back and froth until it breaks off. It only comes with a single replaceable cover, however most any covers will fit.

Also, the CPU cutout on the back did not line up with the old ASUS AMD M4A77TD Pro motherboard used in the build, this just means you have to install your aftermarket cooler before installing the motherboard if this happens to you.

I recommend it becasue of the aesthetics, and it's not a bad quality case for the price. It's perfectly functional and is great for most mid-range builds. It supports tall CPU coolers and long 12 inch video cards easily. I have an XFX Radeon 7970 Black Edition with a Gelid Vision-A on it, and Noctua NH-C12P CPU cooler in this case.

The LED fan is bright, but not intrusive.

Does this case support a 120mm rad(all in one cooler) at the rear exhaust fan spot?

well, yes

i wasnt able to mount a radiator directly onto the case then mount a fan (push config) because of some piece of metal in the corner of the case

BUT

i was able to place a 120 radiator after mounting a fan onto the case first then a radiator onto the fan (pull config)

honestly i suggest a different case for many reasons i dont feel like talking about

i have the Corsair Hydro Series Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler H100i. Will this case work with that product?

Unless you're very patient and have a Dremel, I probably wouldn't advise trying it.  The front of the case has spots for 2 120mm fans, but accessing them is a pain.  They're in the front panel of the case, basically.  Adding a radiator would just be nearly impossible due to the drive bays being right behind them.  Unless you plan on hacking this case to pieces, I'd look at a larger option.

I would like the dimensions in inches if I could. It is 430mm(H)x480mm(D)x195mm(W). I suck at MM conversion! I am wanting to use a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Motherboard if it will fit.I think it is ATX. I know it is 12"x10". Do you think it would work?

This is a Mid Atx tower. Any standard Atx motherboard would fit. Not sure about mini atx motherboards. If you really need the dimensions, use google conversion just type in 439mm = how many inches.

Is the space above the 5 and a quarter external bays also a bay?

No, it is not. It is internal space for the input jacks at the top of the case as well as just extra clearance space, not enough for even a 3.5in bay.

Question 8

How the hell do you mount the hard drive? The other side of the drive cages is blocked by the front of the case and I don't see a way to remove it.

The hard drives are mounted sideways in the orange plastic trays. You remove the left side case panel (looking at it from the front) and just pinch the tabs on the orange tray and it slides towards you. You will most likely have to remove the other side panel to run your sata and power cables to the mobo.

Does this case come with standoffs pre-installed for the motherboard?

Stand offs came in a baggie when I bought mine in 2013. Overall happy with this case for the price paid. Only caveat has been the metal is a little thinner than I'd like.
