Pros: I have been using these fans in my pc and all my customer builds as the 'stock' cooling option for the past 2 1/2 years. Out of the almost 130 of these I've used at this point, I have had a single fan fail. Other then that one not even the smallest hint of a whine, and no complaints from any one that optioned these for their build.
Quiet, efficient, no LED's, comes with all necessary hardware, and a great price as I always try to stock up when they are 30% off, but they are absolutely worth the full price IMHO.
Cons: I'm not gonna complain about 1 failure out of all of these I've used, you can't expect 100% out of a mass produced item.

Pros: -Quiet
-Move plenty of air
-Good pressure
-Price
-Quality
Cons: None
Overall Review: Bearings are surprisingly heavy, the box of four was three pounds. Nice packaging.
I've read three case fan roundups that place these in the top ten out of more than forty samples for CFM:dBA on both radiators and open airflow applications. They're middle-to-high ground in each individually. For the price, these are some of the best fans you can buy.
Pros: Solid, quiet, reasonably priced, and push loads of air.
Cons: Must be mounted tightly or have their mounting adjusted for vibration, since they do put out noticeable vibration, especially when installed in side panels.
Overall Review: I have purchased multiple sets of these for multiple builds. I can't recommend these enough. In terms of getting your fan slots full on new builds, this is the way to go.
Pros: I can't believe how powerful these are and I can barely even hear them.
Cons: The cables aren't sleeved
Overall Review: I am very sensitive to small noises, people say the fans that come with the Corsair H105 are completely silent but this hum they produce is horrible. I ordered more Cougar fans to replace those.
probably the best fans i have bought6/1/2016 1:37:52 PM
Pros: very quiet, can't hear them and my pc is right beside my head basically.
they match my black and red pc color scheme.
they don't rattle and vibrate the pc apart no matter the mounting position.
the price, you get 4 for the price of one even when off sale.
great for thick heat sinks like mine.
Cons: doesn't come with a beer dispenser for gaming parties.
Overall Review: i got these fans because the hydrodynamic bearing (hdb) fans are no good for a top exhaust fan i looked at these fans and compared them to the other cougar hdb fans that i have because they have the same blade design and i tested my other fans at 1200 rpm and was impressed with their performance at that rpm so i grabbed these and these ones actually work better than the other ones at 1200 rpm i would gladly recommend these or buy them again. it would be interesting to see this model of fan (without the quotes)
" http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835553017 " as that fan is the white model of fan that came with my cougar case, mine is black and it would be interesting to see what the fan would look like without the blades being the same color of the lights, especially in red or white.
Pros: Quiet. Seems to move a healthy amount of air.
Cons: 3-pin connection, no PWM.
Overall Review: Closed chassis, meaning if you're using rubber screws, you'll want the longer ones that go all the way through from end to end. I didn't have any so I ended up going with zip-ties and rubber washers.
The fans are no-frills but perfect for my needs as I am using these to replace stock fans in a 7 year old case that I'm handing down to a family member.

There ARE four fans in the box!9/22/2012 9:26:43 PM
Pros: Nice and quiet replacement fans; well, a ton quieter than the ones I replaced.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: They come with a set of screws and a Molex adapter for each one.
