If you have an open USB port you should be able to use it on Windows 7, yes. It should be a simple plug and play, that's how mine works.

Yes, if it's not one of those huge old school monitors. That bottom folding piece is what holds it to the monitor, similar to a clamp, and also adjusts the height at which the camera suits.

Don't  know, but its useless for what I wanted. The older creative live cam software allowed recording of streaming and automatic still capture. This model will not do that. This model is not compatable with XP which we use in our security system which is not online. SO this product was a waste of money for our use. They also have lousey support these days, they were much better a few years ago. I'll never buy any more cameras from Creative.
