Pros: Extremely comfortable, Supurb sound quality, Very well built and designed, All around Amazing
Cons: Still looking for one.
Overall Review: The spec list on newegg is lacking some info. Here are some important ones that are missed: Removable microphone, Rechargable Lithium polymer battery with 9 hours continuous sound playback per charge. charging duration is 4 hours. from my experience (not listed anywhere) the range is well over 15 feet.
THE FOOT PEDAL IN THE IMAGES IS SOLD SEPARATELY! THE PEDAL WILL NOT COME WITH THIS HEADSET!
Pros: Wireless, Heavy base, very loud if you pump up the volume, and the mic works fine. I have had these for several weeks now and have had zero issue with the mic, I have also put it through its paces with games such as World of Warcraft, Mass Effect 2, and Team fortress 2. They sound crisp, clear, and the surround manipulation with the THX works amazing. The mic is clear and easy for people to hear you even when you have the voice modification on. The range is around 15 feet to 20 which is a fair amount and the USB Charger cable is more than long enough for when you need it plugged in to charge the headset batteries.
Cons: Your not allowed to change the mic quality past default settings?
Overall Review: I do not know what the people below are talking bout "extending" the mic. THe mic does NOT extend out at all so either they are referring to another headset and do not realize it or they just are raving for no reason? As I said before up top the mic works fine in fact it is rather sturdy and would be pretty hard to break unless you are abusing the headset in which case would explain why things would break in general. I would refer this headset to anyone that is tired of cables and wires or just manages to damage wired heasets because these you can walk around with easily unless you need to do the occasional charge.
Pros: Definitly these pump out the volume even the LFE. I put it through its paces using Media Player Classic and FFDSHOW filter for 5.1 and this pumps it out very well. Have not used them in game but through the paces of deep base and movie quicktime trailors this puts out the good. Being made in conjunction with THX I would expect this to put out as good as it seems to.
Cons: I do not know really if this is a con but the range is around 20 feet. I did not think it was worth taking a star away for that.
Overall Review: The voice modification tool is a lot of fun if you are into that sort of thing I dont personally use it but hope people enjoy it.

Don't Waste Your Money On These5/3/2011 3:37:12 PM
Cons: 1. Very VERY fragile. The telescoping arms connecting the ear piece to the top headset is extremely thin and brittle. I've had 2 sets of these break off at the headphone with no more than normal usage, without being dropped, smashed or sat upon.
2. Creative Labs Customer Service no longer has a telephone number that customers can reach a representative at! If your product breaks and you require Warranty service your only options are to submit an online RMA request, or email customer support and wait (in both my cases) for about 2 weeks for a response which will instruct you to take pictures, scan your proof of purchase, and provide a valid credit card number, while shipping the defective unit back to them at YOUR expense. Even then, if they decide that you were to blame for the defect, they charge your credit card for 'trouble shooting' labor costs.
Also be aware that currently, the Creative Labs online RMA request application does not recognize wow wireless headset serial numbe
Overall Review: Creative Labs has been a champion of gaming hardware for as long as I can remember. It wasnt long ago that you COULD reach customer service by phone, and would have no complications or out of pocket expenses replacing a defective Creative product.
I'm shocked that Blizzard has not stepped in to correct the post sales customer support problems that exist for a product they so proudly endorse.
Finally, it is worth pointing out that the new versions of the Creative wireless headset have switched to steel telescopic bands. From where I'm standing the design change signals that Creative knows they currently have a broken product design but have (so far) refused to issue a formal recall.

Great after you get it working5/9/2010 3:21:05 AM
Pros: Wireless Range is good, I can walk about 15-20 feet and there is no noticeable disruption to music im listening to.
Mic works fine. Have not had any issues over vent or skype. Everyone i've asked says I sound normal. I'm an avid arena player so communication clarity is critical. No problem here. (I've read though you may have to disable voice fx if you are getting robotic sounding issues, I haven't messed with any voice fx settings though)
The LED lighting effect is pretty cool, but havent figured out how to get these out of standby yet.
If you're an avid WoW gamer, especially an arena player, you will want these.
Cons: Software and support sucks big time. It was a headache to get these installed. If you are not a techie type person, pray to the computer gauds that these will magically work out of the box for you. After 5 reboots of uninstall/install I finally got the drivers to install properly somehow. After the nightmare of getting everything working, they are great. If Creative would get their software together they would get 5 stars.
Overall Review: I like the glowing headphones. They come installed with the alliance lenses. Good for me, since I'm a gnomish frost mage!
Overall Review: After owning these headphones for a year they have finally broken on me. Not the headset but the cheap plastic that connects the headsets to the frame. The brittle THIN plastic slider portion have broken on BOTH sides just from taking the headset off. If you decide to buy these either have a small head so you never have to extend the headsets all the way down or use super doooper extreme caution when taking these osteoperosicesque pieces of junk off. Hope you don't even buy them, there are headphones out there comparable in sound and price that are far more durable.
Pros: Incredible sound, fun novelty voice changing, excellent microphone quality. Rechargeable and nice carrying case and lighting effects. Integrates with World of Warcraft very nicely. If you PvP like I do, hearing your enemy in accurate surround sound detail is vital! Quality surround sound headset at an affordable price for this class of accessory.
Cons: Wearing fatigue. The over the ear cups can make your ears hot after a while. Hard to hear yourself speak and I find myself slipping one of the cups halfway off of my ear so I don't shout at people online.
Overall Review: You really can't get a surround sound unit for much less, and the quality of sound and sharp looks make this an excellent buy. Just make sure you don't mind the over the ear type of listening.
Working perfect with iMac/vent - One feature I had not read about...6/8/2010 10:40:49 AM
Pros: I wanted to write about one feature I had not read about regarding a neat charging / convenience feature. If you plug in the headset for charging, and then put your system (in my case, an imac 27") to sleep, the headset will CONTINUE to charge. The headset will lose wireless connection - flashing the ear LEDs for 1 minute (which is normal), but after that it continues to charge as shown by the flashing red power button! Great for re-charging after raids!
Other than that, I can echo the other positive comments. Worked out of the box, with Vent, on a Mac with excellent sound and mic quality.
Cons: Getting used to not being able to move the mic ... but the reported voice quality if very good, so this is likely just me getting used to a new mic position. There also is a slight very low-level hum in the ears, even when the system sound is muted. Not bad at all or bad enough to bother me .. reminds me of noise-cancellation sound/feel of Bose headsets.
Pros: Extremely comfortable, Supurb sound quality, Very well built and designed, All around Amazing
Cons: Still looking for one.
