It does work with windows 7, but it's very outdated.  The drivers that came stock with my mobo I bought 1.5 years ago are better.

The rules say I can't put a link in this answer but I can tell you how to find it.  Using Google Search, type the words "SB Audigy SE/Value SB0570".  The first page of searches should have a link to Creative Worldwide Support.  When I do it, it goes to a page full of driver downloads for various Windows operating systems.   Good luck!

will this work with 64 bit sys?

I am currently using it for over a year in a Win 7 64-bit system without any problems.  It sounds about the same as my Xfi expensive CL SB in my other system to me, but I aint no audiophile.

I have windows 7 pro and it worked fine after being installed, just needed to get the latest drivers, but even then it worked with the default ones.

Yes, it is compatible with Windows 8.1, but you'll need to download the driver. Go to creative's website, and then go to technical support, then click sound Blaster, then click at the bottom, where it says " If you're product's not listed, click here." Then, in the first list, select Audigy, and in the second, select Sound Blaster Audigy SE, then click next. from there, you can download the driver.

im looking for a good budget soundcard for my asus sabertooth z77. i am not sure if my onboard audio can handle my sennheiser pc 360 headset.

If i got this soundcard could i use my headset in it with a improvement? or what soundcard would be the best budget option for me?

This sound card is barley an upgrade, if at all, from the onboard sound chip that comes with your motherboard. I'd save the money and just go with the onboard sound. In short, it will work, but I wouldn't bother.

I have a slim PC, I was wondering if this had a slim bracket that came with it?

If you mean a "low profile" bracket, no it did not.

However, the existing bracket is held in place by easily removable standard-size machine screws and nuts. The PC I installed it in is also in a small "low profile" cabinet and I simply removed the bracket and let the friction of the socket hold the board in place.

Not an optimal solution, but it's my fault for not reading the fine print.

Since I won't be inserting or removing plugs into the sockets now that everything's in place, I don't expect any future problems.

Does this card support stereo mix / "What U Hear"?

I don't use "What U Hear". But since What U Hear"  is software that creates a usable audio signal prior to the sound card's outputs it should work with the Soundblaster.

I have a HP P7-1414 desktop computer.  Will this sound card fit in this computer?

If the HP Desktop has pci slots, it should fit if a slot is available.  this unit will substitute for an on-board audio chip that has failed and no longer works.
The HP Desktop should have a means in the bios settings to disable the board audio feature.  It should be turned off.  This card will then supply the audio function from its own connectors.
