what is the difference between this card and 70SB150200000? looks identical but there is a price difference.

From what I can see, the card you inquire about does not have the casing with it, which is mostly for looks but also protects the PCB. Also, it does not include the 5.25" bay that this card includes. Personally, I get heavy use out of the 5.25" bay that this card includes, so I find it very worth the money. I hope this helps.

Able to Hear It:
I'm sporting a Z97-A Asus motherboard. The main use of my computer is for gaming and listening to music purchased off Bandcamp or spamming my Google Play subscription.
I'm also using 5.1 Logitech speakers. 
If I were to get this card, would I be able to tell the difference? Or would I need to upgrade my speakers/music files I listen to?

Better speakers = better sound regardless of the sound card. Logitech delivers a decent sound on the high end product line. The SB Z it's also a decent sound card, it delivers a pretty clean output and yes you'll notice the difference. The software has a lot of features like EQ, Crystallize, normalize, compression  etc, some are very useful some are not, it depends. I think is an overall  great sound card for gaming, music and movies for the money, you wont be disappointed.

Does this card work with Windows XP? That's what we are running here and have no reason to upgrade.

Mike, I am running Windows 7 64 bit, so can't accurately answer your question. I bought the Z because it has opticle in and out so I connected my TV to it. If your mother board can accept PCI Express interface the Z might work for you. Good luck,,,

I have an HP computer useing it to record music from my Roland VS880 to the computer. My question is what would be the best sound blaster card for me to use on my projects? I have computer music software which I use to mix, add effects and burn on my HP. I am useing windows 10. I would like a sound card that will hold my bass lines together without noise or rumbling. Would want to get professional results without breaking the bank. Anyone suggest what else I would need to upgrade the HP please let me know. Would a better cpu or mother board be an avantage? As I mention, I record on my Roland VS880, mix the song a little, then record the mix to the computer where it is completely mixed with effects useing music software, then the song is burned to a disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I've never used a Roland product. However, I have a Casio keyboard connected to one of my 3 PC's and use Cakewalk soft synths to compose/arrange/record music. I also have a turntable connected to copy my LP's on my PC. I recommend that you visit Creative's website and click on "Try our new buying guide" on the lower left to figure out which sound card is best for you. I really like the SoundBlaster Z and you can get it for $79.99 from NewEgg or Creative with free shipping. Pay attention to the SoundBlaster Z's system requirements. It requires a CPU running at 2.2 GHz or faster. Also you can search for "Roland VS880 support". There are a couple of support forums you can try.

This came with no cd for drivers or any manual to tell me any more about it! Finding drivers on-line was one reason I changed cards in the first place, now I get to do that again? that really sucks!!

I have some Sennheiser PC 363B headphones that have a 7:1 USB sound card, where you plug the headset into this small USB sound card, and then plug the sound card into a computer USB slot. Question: I read that you need to plug directly into the sound card headphone jack in order to take advantage of the on-board amp? The Sennheiser USB sound card results in a USB connection, not a headphone jack connector.

If the headphones do not have 1 or more sets of standard analogaudio jacks then they are not compatible with this card.

The headphones you currently have are a total audio solution (the usb card is the analog to this one)  to use any other audio card youd need to replace the headphones too.

Will i be able to connect this sound card to my Asus Maximus V Gene Mother board? If not can i have a suggestion? i really need one

I bought it for an Inspiron 660s; can't use it, because it's profile is too high to line up with the open slot on the back of my PC. So, if you have a small PC case, double check the measurements to see if it will fit.
