does the remote, control volume on individual speaker ?

The wired remote has one volume control which controls the global volume. There is no separate subwoofer control or individual speaker control.

Question 2

Can these be used with my tuner/amplifier or are they only for use with the output voltage from a computer?  Thanks

Hi Robert, these speakers can only be connected via the 3.5 mm jack or via Bluetooth, so I suspect you won't be able to connect them to your tuner/amp. Secondly, they are intended to be connected to a computer or mp3 player (I use them with my iPhone and Sony Tablet), so your tuner might put out too much amperage. So if by chance you have a 3.5 mm output jack on your tuner, I'd be VERY careful connecting these speakers to it.
However, they are excellent speakers with great sound, so if you want them to play music from a personal device they would serve you very well.

Are these speakers wireless? The manufacturers owners manual shows they are wired. The Bluetooth feature of this product is the only wireless function.

The speakers are wired to the subwoofer and the subwoofer plugs into the electrical outlet.  You can listen to music one of two ways: 1) via the 1/8" stereo headphone plug or 2) via a Bluetooth the device.  The speakers themselves are wired, however music transfer to the speaker system can be either wired or wireless.

sub woofer is not working?

The bluetooth on mine has not been working.  At first it was fine, however after a few months it wouldn't connect, even though the laptop was recognizing it and connected to it.  Since then, I've been plugging it in and it works fine that way. Haven't had time to figure out whether the connection issue is with the speaker or the laptop.  Sorry I can't be of more help.
