Yes, it should because I got it for my Pro late 2011, but apple did not change the design of the MacBook from the early 2011 to late 2011, they just added larger HDDs and faster processors. You should have no trouble using this ram.

It's not simply about when you purchased your iMac, but the specifics of the computer.  Mine was purchased mid 2011 and I purchased these and they worked for me with no problem.  But you need to check out your model and such to verify.  There are a number of sights online that will do this for you when you enter in the required information.

Thanks, Peter. Apple says to obtain for iMac (Mid 2011) models "2 GB or 4 GB RAM SO-DIMMs of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM in each slot." These Crucial memories fit all of the description except "SDRAM." Can I infer from what you wrote that the only place I can get the completely correct memory cards is from Apple?

  I have (21.5-inch, Mid 2010), processor speed 3.06GHz Intel Core i3 and current  memory is 4GB 1333 DDR3. I want to replace my current memory with this. Will this product suit my machine ?  Can I go up to 16G instead of 8GB? Please advise. Thanks

As far as I know apple will not recommend 16G, but a lot of people do it anyway. You should be fine.

I've got mine running in a 2011-era Macbook, working fine. Sounds like your model is a hair newer than mine. I'd imagine it should work there, too, though.

Yes, this should work if my quick Google search for your model's specifications is correct. RAM isn't picky about what computer it goes in, there is a pretty rigorous set of standards that all systems have to follow, so RAM is completely interchangeable between systems as long as they share the same specifications, which (it seems to me) is the case here.

I'm not familiar with the Samsung RAM.

But I would trust Apple over Samsung.

At the end of the day, it can't be that different in speed. If you want more speed you need to buy more RAM.
