sataII motherboard is this a problem?

SATA II is compatible with SATA III. All SATA device are compatible with eachother, the one caveat is since you have a SATA II motherboard and this is a SATA III Drive your drive will be limited to SATA II Speeds. I personally don't think you will have any compatibility issues with your board as SATA device tend to be quite simple.

Will this SSD work with my Dell XPS 410?

It's 2.5", 7mm high, includes 9.5mm spacer, SATA (not eSATA nor mSATA) connectors.  I created a single MBR Primary boot Partition for Winows 7, 64-bit, and installed it in a HP 11.6" N010DX laptop PC.  No issues ... installed, partitioned, booted, and runs Windows 71, 64-bit, like a typical SATA drive, only faster and more energy-efficient.

I want to use this with windows xp, will it work ok?

Assuming your motherboard includes sata support it should be fine.  Based on what people say on the forums, the biggest hurdle is the fact that Windows xp does not offer native support for sata devices.  I'm not sure how tricky this problem is, but at a minimum you need to ensure you have sata ports available and then manually download and install drivers for this device.

Sata cable for data. Has sort of L shape connector.Also Sata power connector also L shape from your power supply. Adapters are available. 4pin Molex to sata.

I am trying to upgrade my Acer Aspire ES1-411-C507. Is this SSD compatible? Would I need a 9.5 mm adapter? Thanks.

They come with a small plastic shim to make the drive a little thicker but in most cases is not necessary.
