Lamp is cool to the touch when color LED is on.

Cons: iOS app only available to iOS 7 Android app only available to Android 4.3 or later App lacks features, only half of them work. The "various mode" doesn't work and the "alarm" doesn't work either. I'm at least happy that the light itself works. Gunilamp also says that they will release new "fun apps" for it, assuming that it will be like party mode etc. But it's been a long time and nothing. Connectivity can be annoying sometimes, with the password especially. There's no option not to have one, and it defaults at 0000, or at least thats what I type. It just adds extra unnecessary steps to connect. And there are issues with connection when you have multiple devices on the one bulb. It gets hot when the white LED is on.

Overall Review: The light bulb itself is great, but the app is terrible. The main function of the light works fine, but the other advertised modes such as the "alarm" and the "various mode" just don't even work. It's an $80 LIGHT BULB. It better be really good. Sadly, it didn't meet all expectations thanks to their lackluster app.
