Cons: Immediately after getting the enclosure I noticed the latching mechanism had issues I must push with a larger than expected amount of force to and then push the latch to the closed position for it to latch properly. Second Within three months of purchasing the device the USB connector became temperamental in positioning it to get it to recognize the device. I suspected an issue with a loose connector, but tested with a heavy gauge USB 3.0 cable. It was shortly after I the USB connector became completely separated. As I hadn't registered the device for the warranty and did not want to pay to ship it I took it apart to investigate, USB connector is held on with what looks like four solder points and the smaller pins protruding from the rear of the connector are just resting on their respective contact points. At least the later is my assumption as there is no sign of solder or breakage for the rear pins. Third, which is part of second, the eSata connector relies on USB for power so the enclosure is essentially useless now.
