Cons: It's microsoft a bit expensive considering how long it's been out(but newegg seems to have the lowest price on it you can get) Not as stable or good as a mac

Overall Review: I built a laptop and put XP in it. Runs great with no problems. FYI, I kept wondering if you needed to be a microsoft registered "system builder" to install this oem... I risked having that problem and bought it anyways. For those who are wondering about this, you do NOT have to be a microsoft registered system builder to install this. It will install just like a retail version. Only difference between oem and Retail is with OEM you can only install on ONE motherboard, and you get no tech support from microsoft. You also don't get a box; it comes in a package that's shrink wrapped. Mostly contains CD, COA, and lots of ms licensing crud. Last thought, if you can afford a mac, get a mac. They are more reliable; and for what you get you aren't paying any more for it then you would for an equally equipped pc(same specs or as similar as you can get). If you want to stick with pc though, or run windows os on your mac, win XP (home or pro) OEM is the best choice.

Overall Review: I got this a while ago to use as an external hard drive with one of my 2.5 in internal hd's. Works well. The installation is easy and you don't even need instructions for it(but it comes with some). Even comes with a case and screw driver and a kit of screws. Well designed case. Don't know why some of these people think it's flimsy; I've replaced the hd in it numerous times and it still works great. It hasn't broken anywhere and I don't see anything getting any weaker. Seems pretty durable to me. If your looking for a good durable case that will keep your hd running cool but also looks nice, get this one.
