Great Price, does the job for home backup.

Pros: Easy to install and use and the instructions were pretty good. Price was great for a simple RAID card.
Cons: HDD light doesn't work anymore, but who cares. I had trouble installing a new OS at the same time as this system. Since I was doing RAID 1. The workaround was to simply install it on one drive then mirror the other.
Overall Review: This is perfect for someone who justs wants RAID on their desktop computer. I put it on my 4 year old Sony VAIO and with 2 1TB hard drives. If you are wondering about the price differences between this on the other RAID controllers, the reason is that this is more for a home desktop environment and can't do fancy RAID 5, or handle more than 2 drives in RAID. But for me this was perfect.
works fine

Pros: I like Intel motherboards because i believe their is less to go wring when the same company makes the motherboard and processor. Judging from my last computer and this computer it has always been trouble free with Intel motherboards. This board is priced right and has 3 PCI slots for legacy cards.
Cons: No PS/2 ports, if you have an old keyboard or mouse and weren't planning on upgrading them be prepared to buy a PCI card with those ports.
Overall Review: The computer didn't know it had HD 4600 video capability, I had to search around the intel website and download the driver. This should be standard on the driver CD that comes with the motherboard as all Haswell processors have this capability.
