SYBA GamesterGear P3210 Rumble Effect PC & PS3 Wired Gaming Headset
SYBA GamesterGear P3210 Rumble Effect PC & PS3 Wired Gaming Headset

Pros: everything

Cons: slight hiss, not real noticeable...may just be my PC

Overall Review: I have to make some comments because I think some of the reviews on here make some unfair points. Build quality: yes, they are plastic, not metal. If you are gentle with them they will be just fine...if you just drop them on your desktop when you are done or are rough with them then they may break...so don't be rough or drop them. I think the quality is excellent considering they are mostly plastic. Mine do not "rattle" when they are on my head? Maybe don't listen to metal music and headbang with them? PC compatibility: They are absolutely compatible with PC. You have to have a little knowledge when setting them up..like maybe read the included instructions which clearly shows how to set them up on PC. Plug them in..go to control panel>sound>playback tab>right click on the headphones and make them the "default communication device"...now the "game" slider and the "chat" slider both work properly...like I said...read the instructions...how hard is that? Rumble effect: Works as advertised. They really do "rumble" when you turn the slider way up...its kinda cool. I don't use it for music but in gaming on a lower setting it really adds to the bass..gives it a very 3d feel...hard to explain..you just have to feel/hear it. If you don't like rumble, turn the slider all the way down. I like the extra bass speaker...and the abiltity to use the slider to set it where i need it...for music it is awesome! I've had these a few weeks now and I CANNOT game without them...they really enhance the sound in Fallout New Vegas for me...blows me away how good that game sounds in these. This was the best $35 bucks I spent in a long time.

Microsoft JWD-00046 Black USB Wired Standard Keyboard 200
Microsoft JWD-00046 Black USB Wired Standard Keyboard 200

Pros: its black has all the keys I need

Cons: it's way too light! holding it is like holding a feather...I had to duct tape 20 dominoes to the bottom to weigh it down! horrible! A few keys I have to press really hard to make work. I was expecting better from Microsoft.

Overall Review: buying something else real quick. will keep this in the closet for emergencies.

Wow!!!

SYBA GamesterGear P3210 Rumble Effect PC & PS3 Wired Gaming Headset
SYBA GamesterGear P3210 Rumble Effect PC & PS3 Wired Gaming Headset

Pros: This is the 1st pair of headphones I have ever bought..seriously. I am more of a PC gamer than a music listener. I was looking for some "gaming" headphones for me and my son so we can talk while playing Battlefield 4. I looked at quite a few before coming across this one. I didn't want to spend more than $50 for a pair and I got these when they were on sale for $34.99! I promptly bought 2 pair and hoped for the best. I've been using them for a few days and they are fantastic! The sound quality in games is awesome...gunfire, explosions, voices, etc sound amazing..the extra bass you get with these really makes an impact. The mic is great and voice quality is crystal clear. What really shocked me was how phenomenal they sound when listening to music. I have a Creative X-Fi gamer sound card and with the Creative audio console and the Creative console launcher and using X-Fi Crystalizer and the "Theatre" setting with the EAX effects all my music sounds amazing. Highs, mids, Bass, percussion....really superb. I also have DFX Audio enhancer running too which also adds to the overall quality. Without a decent sound card and some software I don't think You'd want these for music but with my set-up and some time spent tweaking I have the sound just perfect. These are incredibly comfortable too....after a few minutes I forget i have them on...very light and comfy..and the padded earpads are very breathable...no sweaty ears. The only negative I can give is I hear a slight hiss when there is no audio playing which sometimes comes thru slightly during the quiet moment of a song. I'm not sure what causes this? either the ground for the 3.5mm plug or the USB connector may be to blame? Don't know if its the headphones fault or my PC? Either way it doesn't take away from the sound at all....its barely noticeable. I have a Yamaha 2.1 PC speaker set that I have been using for years and LOVE but I think I now prefer using these headphones...the sound is just more enveloping and "real". If your looking for a really good set of headphones and can't afford the likes of Steel series or Turtle Beach then these a real contender. I'm very happy with these...especially at $35.

Cons: slight hiss

The Best!...

Antennas Direct DB2 Multi-Directional HDTV Antenna
Antennas Direct DB2 Multi-Directional HDTV Antenna

Pros: I am a Dish Network subscriber but cannot receive my local HD channels because where my dish is set up the satellite I need for those channels is blocked by my apartment building, the building owners won't let me move the dish to be able to receive them so I have to resort to using an antenna to watch them. I am using this antenna indoors, have it hanging on the wall next to my entertainment center, and it does an awesome job pulling in all my local HD channels. I live about 14 miles from the towers(4 towers are SE of me and 3 towers are NW of me) and I am getting good signals from all of them (avg. signal strength is in the mid 70's). I live in a "garden level" apartment...meaning my apartment is 1/2 underground and 1/2 above ground and even with that and being surrounded by other apartments and trees this antenna works GR8!

Cons: none.

Overall Review: I chose this particular antenna based on the many positive reviews of it. It was easy to set-up..took 5 minutes...took another hour of fiddling around to find the right spot on the wall for best reception. It was definately worth the money.

Fantastic card for those on a budget!

ASUS GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card EN9600GT/HTDI/512M
ASUS GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card EN9600GT/HTDI/512M

Pros: If you want to runs games with GeForce 8800 like results but at a cheaper price this is the one to get! I have this card along with a P5Q Pro mobo, 4 gigs of HyperX, and a 160 GB WD Cavair w/16Mb cache HD and I'm loving this new budget build of mine...I am playing Crysis with High and some ultra high settings and getting a steady 30 FPS...COD4 and FARCRY 2 run at max settings..at over 30 FPS....Bioshock..same thing...gunna pick up Fallout 3 soon and see how that does....running the card at stock too..no OC'ing..about 40C at idle and 57C at full load....as soon as I replace the Stock Htsnk/Fan I will see about OC'ing.....now i'm just waiting for Red Faction: Guerrilla and Borderlands to come out....

Cons: none really..the stock fan is adequate and quiet, but if you want to OC you should upgrade to a Zalman or something...

Phenomenal MOBO!

ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I have always heard of how GR8 ASUS boards were supposed to be, so when I upgraded my 5 yr old syytem recently i decided to go with ASUS...and I could'nt be happier with this board!....I have never had a single problem with it!..it has performed beautifully since day 1..I have an Intel E5200 and 4 gigs of HyperX and an ASUS 9600GT....and after waiting so long I can finally run Crysis...on High setting and get 30 FPS...and Farcry 2 and COD4 at max settings....I also was thinking of the future when I bought this and will upgrade to a quad core in 6 months or so when the price is really down on those....and will also upgrade the Vid card too...I was on a $400 budget this time but I am very Happy with all my purchases...ASUS and NEWEGG Rock!

Cons: none...
