This is a REAL Access Point
Pros: Too many features to list. Huge onboard memory, superfast processor, never fails to deliver speed, throughput, security. Supports multiple SSIDs, VLANs, Guest SSID, IP forwarding.. this is what an AP should be able to do. Features onboard DHCP server, should you ever need one. Can be configured as a repeater too (stand alone or optionally if the LAN disconnects.) So many options, just buy it, you won't regret it.
Cons: Comes with nothing but the mounting bracket. Buy Power Supply here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx? Item=N82E16833997077 Buy antennae separately. Antennae need to be RP-TNC plugs.
It's a power supply
Pros: Bought this for Cisco 1260 AP. Realized that the Power supply is identical to (and can power) Cisco 1250/1240 Access Points as well. (48 VDC/0.4A)
Cons: Price. C'mon, $30 for a AC/DC Transformer?
Overall Review: Cisco needs 0.4 at 48 VDC. There are cheaper options.
G510 Awesome
Pros: Multicolor fully adjustable Backlight, Macros, Myriad of programming features, applets, multi-function switches I still haven't figured out LoL.
Cons: Keyboard back support kickstands aren't as high as I'd like them to be. I'd like the keyboard to have it's back more tilted/elevated. Putting out the kickstands raises the keybard about 1/2 inch. Won't take eggs off for that.
Overall Review: The keyboard has narrow keys, and if you come from any other keyboard you will notice the keys are very close to each other, which takes a week to get used to, but then thereafter you will notice that is actually a good thing when gaming. Tons of features, even has a built in analog sound for mic and speakers. Well arranged, can even program keystroke combinations without software, on the fly (i.e. while in the game - "temporary macro".) If you are an avid Battlefield player, you will love this keyboard.
Ownage!!
Pros: Smooth, light, thin, ultra precise. Definitely worth buying if you want a better frag rate in your FPS games. I spilt coffee, juice, beer, whiskey and water over it in the past year. Cleaned up easy, let dry, still works without loosing it's smoothness. It hasn't curled, the backing has extreme grip to the desk, does not slip.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: If you need a mousepad that will increase your mouse precision, is durable and makes mouse movements feel amazingly smooth, this is it.
Acer
Pros: Great monitor. It doubles as TV with HDCP. Autosensing switch, if you have more than 1 computer connected, once you shut off a video source, it switches automatically to another active source. Use it for gaming, nice large screen, fast, no ghosting, clear
Cons: The power indicator LED started flickering, I think the LED is about die.. does not affect monitor operation, just annoying, I put a piece of insulating tape over it. If that's the only problem I'll ever have, still 5 eggs.
Overall Review: Has a separate audio stereo jack in the back. Useful.
Perfect for Mixed Network Environment
Pros: This switch improved our network performance: IT DOES EVERYTHING BETTER! This switch is absolutely the best switched we have ever installed. Jumbo frames (packets up to 9Kb, will become standard), no problem - does not care. I would say this thing was meant for mixed network environments. At our Headquarters, we have all kinds of networking equipment, serious HIPAA servers, Web-Ready TVs, Personal Laptops Mac and PC, Desktops and game consoles, a bunch of wireless devices, etc.. Old switch was struggling to carry all mixed packets and data around.. This one, pffft.. absolute preformance. IT JUST WORKS as stated! PS3 reports "Open NAT" now - no restrictions. No more random game logouts. Servers that now download central updates from the computer at 680Kb/s! (Old Netgear router LAN speed during the same updates was about 38Kb/s) Desktops actually see each other - Mac and PC in STAR topology. DHCP server never looses client connection anymore, another problem solved. I could go
Cons: Would have liked the Status Lights on one side, Cables on other, but hey.. no biggie. (Status lights show 10/100/1000 and FDIX link).
Overall Review: Has ports for Fiber too.. Nice! Runs VERY COOL and VERY VERY QUIET. Uses standard IEC cable for power, No Transformers or anything. Same power cable that your computer uses for power. In use for over a year, all ports working! You can even manipulate the level of LED status lights.. Very good switch for any mixed game/business environment.
