Good budget build case
Pros: Price, power supply and available spaces for drives. The included case fan and the abilitiy to add three more case fans if needed. Manual switch on back of power supply to bump up fan speed to higher RPM.
Cons: Thin metal of case frame makes it a little less than ideal
Overall Review: I got this for my daughter's PC, and overall the case is great. for the price and including a 500 watt PS, it was well worth it. Make no doubts, that it is very thin metal on the frame, and mine was tweaked a bit in shipping. Taking off the front plate, laying it down and flexing it back into shape solved the issue. If the case material were a thicker, it would have gotten a five star rating.
Not what you expect
Pros: The size is great and the Video quality from the camera is impressive. For a small camera it has impressive amount of optical zoom.
Cons: the Rest of the camera. The shot to shot time is slow, and it cannot take action shots without being blurry. There comes a time when the electronics overwhelm the intended use, and Nikon has gotten there. It only takes good still shots. When there is too much motion in the background, the poor shutter speed and object tracking are a disappointment. No amount of tweaking the dozens of settings on the camera can get the picture to turn out. The cons just ruined what could have been a great camera and made it no better than a cheap $50 dollar camera.
Overall Review: I purchased this to replace an older Canon PowerShot s3IS due to my wife going out of country and wanting a smaller camera. After the Nikon's disappointing performance, going back to the Canon for motion shots makes a noticeable difference with action shots.
Pros: picture quality, soud quality, ease of use
Cons: the sleep timer
Overall Review: Got this after two very sad attempts at a smaller HDTV for the bedroom. I settled on this because of price/features, and can say the only complaint is that you have to mine for the sleep timer. Other than, that the TV has been excellent!
nice.. but
Pros: the tv itself is a nice package for the money. the color was great, the sound was great, unpacking it was a breeze. it could have been a great deal for the money.
Cons: the poor build quality. The first one I got was great except for the fact that once turned on, something internally was humming. I don't know if it was one of the back lights or an on- board transformer. If there was no volume, it was audible, and if you had then tv lower than #12 on the volume you could hear it. I sent it back for a replacement, got the replacement, and it did the exact same thing.
Overall Review: I don't know if JVC quality has gone down or if there was a batch with a defective part or parts. It was such a shame, because every place that sold these had consistently high ratings for the TV, and I was truly disappointed. If not for that stupid problem, the unit could have been a 5 egg review.
it's a shame they couldn't get the sound right
Pros: great picture, nice stand, easy to set up. This much can be said.
Cons: SOUND -plain and simple. My iPhone 3GS has better sound coming out of it's internal speaker. That said, if you're going to use it for a Monitor and use external sound, it will be perfect.
Overall Review: The review all over the place gave the sound issue a 50/50 split,so I tried to be optimistic. I was wrong. The sound is completely atrocious- there is no other way to describe it. I can say that the sound is about as good as my LED computer monitor that I bought last year. It is a shame that they couldn't spend 20 more dollars to ensure the sound was better. If it had good sound, it would be a five egg TV. Unfortunately, I think it will be going back for something better.
mx882
Pros: the mx882 was purchased to replace a 7yr old Epson r300. compared to the Epson, even this does not have he light cm tanks, the print quality is much better than the Epson was. The pictures are crisp and the colors are fairly close to the original images when printed from a photo retailer. The inks last quite a while when printing pictures and color letter size plain paper. overall, I think it's a great value for the price that I had paid compared to others on the market. as far as wireless, it was easy to set up and I have yet to have nay problems, a major plus since I have run out of wired ports again on my router and switch
Cons: the downsides are text printing and photo paper choices. Black text is not as crisp as some printers, but changing to a better grade of paper did improve the slight bleed around the text edges. For photos and the best quality prints, I have tried several papers, and Canon paper is the only one that seems to keep the highest definition on edges without getting grainy and pixelated.
Overall Review: While I have only owned Epson inkjets to this point, I am very happy with the price vs. performance and picture quality that it produces. I doubt that I will get the lifespan out of this that I had from any of the Epsons, but for the gain in picture quality, it's hard to complain. And for the size of the ink tanks vs. what you get in output, they do pretty good on longevity. The wireless was easy to set up and I have yet to have it drop, unlike the HP's AIO that my in-laws have which constantly drops and fails to reconnect. Again, for what I paid, it was a bargain. You just need to shop around to find it on sale for around 150.00
