This review is from: Eluktronics Pro-X P650HP6-G VR Ready 15.6" 120Hz 5ms Gamers Edition Laptop PC - Intel i7-7700HQ Quad Core Windows 10 Home 6GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 + G-SYNC 128GB PCIe NVMe SSD 8GB DDR4 RAM
Pros: - Aesthetics (low profile / not flashy)
- Fresh OEM Window's install (No bloatware)
- Fast production and shipping once purchased
- Nice packaging of product
- Bang for buck! So many ports/options
- Great price!
- Easy to upgrade
- Friendly company (Eluktronics)
- Finger print reader has worked perfectly for me. No issues reading my finger every time.
- Love the keyboard lighting customization. 3 zones you can chose a different color in, so tons of options.
Cons: - Haven't run into any yet. If you read the description, that's what you're going to get.
Other Thoughts: To be fair, I'd like to let it known that Eluktronics offers a free 16gb USB 3.0 for a product review, either good or bad. I haven't had a lot of time with the product yet but over the last week I feel it's performed admirably. I mainly purchased this laptop because I wanted a light gaming laptop without the flashy gaming laptop look. I ran across Eluktronics custom built laptops and really liked what I saw. Even more surprised, the price for what you get. ALL of these ports and slots are up-to-date with new standards such as USB 3.1 Type C, Bluetooth 4.2, Wireless AC, PCIe SSD M.2, etc. They really didn't skimp on anything, there are so many port options. They back up what they state in their product description.
I was on the fence between this TN 120hz GSYNC panel or one of the IPS 60hz panels. Ultimately, I went with this one for the gaming side of what I wanted. For a TN panel, you can still notice the viewing angels, but it's not nearly as bad as the ones I've had in the past. To be fair, with a laptop, I rarely have to view the panel from another angle other than right in front of it, so I don't really knock anything off for the display. It's crisp, vibrant, and smooth at 120hz.
The build quality of the laptop has also surprised me. It is much better looking in person than in the pictures on the websites. The brushed aluminum is a very nice touch and adds a nice sleek design. It's much thinner than I thought it would be too. I'm not a fan of touch pads so I only used it for a day and then bought a wireless mouse. I don't have any issues with touch pads, I just don't like trying to navigate with them. I've always been more comfortable with a mouse.
I can't speak much to the speakers because I either use a bluetooth headset or go silent.
Power consumption is what I expected from a light gaming laptop. It varies so much based on so many factors so it's hard to provide any feedback on how YOU may experience it. For ME, I get about 2-3 hours off just battery when browsing the internet, watching videos. When gaming, I plug it in so not sure lol.
I love the keyboard. The function keys are plentiful and very useful. The customization is outstanding for backlight. The Keys seem very responsive. They are soft to the push and fairly quiet. Full 10-key is handy.
I haven't used the webcam yet so can't really speak to that either.
Overall, I really feel like I got a bargain. There are so many options with these laptops and I'm so happy to see a company out there that is breaking the mold and actually offering you a quality product with today's standards, with the right price tag. The company really seems to care about their image and providing a quality product. I haven't had to call their customer service yet because the product has been working perfectly upon arrival. I don't think Newegg allows product review updates, so I'll just have to post another one if I end up running into any issues down the road.
Sorry for the long description, but want to be fair for all to read. I trusted all the positive reviews from this company, and glad I did because I'm very happy with my purchase.
Pros: - Price
- Works as intended
- Shipped fine, no spillage
Other Thoughts: I think it's hard to really put a rating on a toner replacement because it's hard to tell right away if it's going to last or cause any problems later. However, I would like to note that the price for this toner, along with the quick shipping and quality of packaging, and it's been working ever since I put it in, I think it's fair to write a review.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Let me start by saying I'm not a coffee drinker so I will make this review strictly about the product as it's intended.
- Looks great
- Love the LEDs in the water tank and on the screen
- Very simple to use
- Plug and play
- Ready to brew in < 5 min
Other Thoughts: By the time I've written this review, the product has worked as intended, without hic-up. It's a reliable machine and that's a great thing.
I mainly use this for brewing quick cups of tea. I can tell you right now that the tea options are decent but not as good as a home brewed batch using tea bags. I recommend everyone who gets this for tea get the 32oz pitcher (sold separately). I think I got it for $20 but it's been well worth it as I use it all the time.
Some may say that the price of these are pretty high but I think what I paid for is the convenience of having a quick cup of tea in less than 5 minutes. It is built for that and it does it well.
