Superb Cordless Phone from Panasonic
Pros: I have the slightly lower model of this line. I thought the cell link feature was gimicky and at first was not sure I even needed it. I really wanted a 2 lind cordless phone. Well, I will say after a few months I found that feature VERY HANDY. My wife and I especially like to not have to 'run' for the cell phone if it rings! I put a quick link to power on and off BlueTooth on the home page of the phones, so BlueTooth is not running if we don't need it (battery waste when not home). This is superb, as you come home, plug in your cell to charge, turn on BluTooth (if off) and done. I am going to likely order this phone and a friend if mine is buying my barely used other link to cell model 9no headset on that model). This model gives spearphone at base, belt cilip and headset port. Those three extra features are important to me, and worth the effort...
Cons: None really, only thing is the delay after a call comes in on cell and there is about a 2 second pause while th panasonic connects to incoming cell call. Just pause saying "Hello" by about two seconds. Once connection is established there is NO delay from that point on.
Overall Review: Add range extender(s) if needed, nice ability!
Decent card, terrible fan Noisy after 6 days of ontime.
Pros: WEI rating was decent, a notch higher than the HD5450 I was going to replace, W.E.I. score with HD-5450 was 4.6 (Areo) and 6.1 (Gaming). W.E.I. (Windows Experience Rating) with this GT 620 card is 4.7 (Aero) and 6.4 (Gaming). For more non gaming needs this is great, and better than alot or motherboard based video (it's great for HTPC with a silent setup)
Cons: Less than a week after I put it in, the fan got noisy! I had to use the PC during this seventh day and thought "That fan/heatsink has to go". I ordered a superb huge fanless Video heatsink I love, and dug out my spare but it won't fit! I have used the "CoolViva Z1" and have them on a bunch of cards, but no way would it line up in any fashion with this new GT620 chipset. Totally wrong holes, and the only way I could 'make' it work is to drill and tap 4 new holes and some would need to be right inthe copper heatsink material. No freakin way, not worth the trouble. This thing (and the 2 additional ones I bought) are going back... I got them for $25, but my guess is this little typical 'lousy' heatsink fan, so prevelant in low end 'slim' cards, is obviously a fast reving (sleeve bearing) low end tiny fan.
Overall Review: I bet I would have to FAR exceed the purchase price of this card to get a decent fanless setup. Now if I REALLY wanted this thing to work, and space was no issue, then I would do the following: I would tie wrap a decent 60mm or 80MM MUCH SLOWER fan to it and have that fan power run from either the MoBo, or cut the connector and have it powered from the Video board itself. This card is simply not worth it... Back it goes!
Not recommended - Long shipping time (expect 4 weeks), you may get varying levels of rust on bearings and you will likey get one or two colors
Pros: None
Cons: I got 2 blue and 4 yellow. I got varying levels of rust on each unit. They were cheap, I wish they had put in metal weights and spent a bit more effort on center bearing so it would pin better Plastic covers for center pop off easily and are a big time choking hazard depending on age. Got as a gift, but could not give, was embarrassed (was too late anyway, which was a good thing in reality) and quality, useless.in reality...
Great hardware
Pros: Love the overall cleanliness and appearance of first unit (have only looked setup one so far, bought 3 totaly and have only looked at the other 2 so far).
Cons: I am only docking it one star as one of my 3 devices do not have the certified refurbished COA label for Win7 Pro. So I know on the one PC I will have to spend about 15 extra minutes on the phone with Microsoft to activate that one.
Overall Review: Be aware IF you get this before mid July and hurry you can upgrade to Win 10 Pro 64 for "Free" be aware you will spend several hours of your time...
CAUTION only 1 year warranty!
Pros: WD makes great stuff and I personally have 10 of the 2TB passport "Ultra series passports and have bought clients about another 20 1TB. Of those 30+ drives 2 have failed. One of mine (in month 18) and one of a client's (in month 20). Warraranty swap was great, but note BOTH drives died after the first year.
Cons: This 'version' has a lousy 1 year warranty. Get the ultra, virtually the same and the same price (or less) and 3 year warranty!
lasted two years under very light use (1 or 2 items at once - max - only occasional use)
Pros: Great while it lasted.
Cons: Would not power an iPad and only lasted 2 years of very intermittent and light use.
Overall Review: I bought this 'Scosche' branded item at an office store (on clearance, was marked down to $20). Since mine lasted about 2 years, and is now totally dead, there was NO downside to take it apart and see if the failure was obvious (like a blown capacitor). Since it lasted about 2 years, would not buy again. Since it failed, I took apart to see if failure was obvious (it was not). see attached pictures. 2 stars for the 2 years it lasted. Like another reviewer mentioned while it lasted the LED was insanely bright! (nothing now that it's dead)
