Does its job

Nippon Labs 2.5" SATA to USB 2.0 External Enclosure for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive Model EN-25SATA
Nippon Labs 2.5" SATA to USB 2.0 External Enclosure for SATA I and SATA II Hard Drive Model EN-25SATA

Pros: Small, USB powered, nice little vinyl case. Connector (SATA) fits really tight

Cons: Heat possibly, but haven't had a chance to really tell if it will get out of hand. I did just transfer 25GB to a 80GB drive and it didn't seem to get too hot.

Overall Review: Worked right out of the box and allowed me to clone my wife's old drive onto a 200GB drive. When I swapped those around, I formatted the old drive, loaded my music onto it, and and hoping it will work in my truck with my USB stereo. We'll see. Oh, the little screws? Jeez folks, they work fine. The double USB cable? Again, don't see what the big deal is. I think it's kinda nice really. I used both when mirroring the drive because I didn't want any foul ups. I just used one USB end when copying the 25GB of mp3s with no problems.

Disappointed

REMINGTON MS-5100 Titanium Pro MicroScreen Foil Shaver
REMINGTON MS-5100 Titanium Pro MicroScreen Foil Shaver

Pros: Well, I wanted to try an electric shaver after going it the old fashioned way for 30 years. Figured it would reduce my shaving times a little to save about 2 minutes of my day. Got a great deal on this from Newegg, and the reviews seemed good. I have read that your face, for whatever reason, must become "accustomed" to using an electric shaver. I have stuck with it so far, but my shave times have not been reduced at all. In fact, they may have increased as I have to continually go over areas numerous times.

Cons: Not as close as cream and a razor. Very noisy. Kinda bulky.

Overall Review: It does what it's supposed to do, just not that well for me. I had my eye on a $100 Panasonic, but figured I'd try this first. I'll probably either go back to a razor or get the Panasonic in the future. BTW, I did try to use the "powder" that Remington recommends, but really haven't noticed that it helps any.

WL 6TB 64MB Cache 5700RPM SATA III (6.0Gb/s) (Quiet & Heavy Duty) 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (For Destkop PC/Mac, NAS, CCTV DVR) -w/ 1 Year Warranty
WL 6TB 64MB Cache 5700RPM SATA III (6.0Gb/s) (Quiet & Heavy Duty) 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (For Destkop PC/Mac, NAS, CCTV DVR) -w/ 1 Year Warranty

Pros: Plugged it in, and it works. Didn't run a bunch of tests. As long as it doesn't crash, I'm fine with it. Installed in a Win10 computer using as a server with a storage pool. Should have gotten more. For the price, I figured I would give it a shot. As far as I can tell, it doesn't make any noise. (Any more than any other HDD). It's in a Antec 300 case with 5 other 3TB and 4TB drives.

Cons: No reviews? Really? Guess everyone is too scared to try it.

Working Great After 4 Months

TRENDnet TEW-812DRU V1 AC1750 Dual Band Wireless Router
TRENDnet TEW-812DRU V1 AC1750 Dual Band Wireless Router

Pros: Came here looking for information regarding the open source firmware Trendnet has posted on their site as of 1/17/14. No info on that, but after seeing the recent negative reviews thought I'd share my 2 cents. Have not had any issues. I guess I gave it 4 stars because I can't locate a good forum for info (such as the above firmware), but technically, the product works just fine.

Cons: The web interface is not as easy to navigate as my previous Trendnet (TEW-633GR) which worked great for about 4 years. Hoping this one lasts that long.

Overall Review: If anyone has tried the opensource firmware for this router, I'd be interested to know more about it. Trendnet is offering it up but provides no support and no information on their website.

Not bad

Corsair Force Series 3 2.5" 60GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CSSD-F60GB3-BK
Corsair Force Series 3 2.5" 60GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CSSD-F60GB3-BK

Pros: My first Sata3 SSD. Guess I was expecting it to be faster...it's good though. No, I haven't benchmarked it. Does come with the tray for a desktop though, which was nice. Mine had two sets of screws, one fine (to attached drive to tray) and coarse (to attach tray to case).

Cons: It's too small for 64 bit Windows and some programs. I only have 10gb left. Not a fault of the drive though, I already knew how big it was.

Overall Review: Again, works fine. No errors. Loaded Windows first time. Just not mind bending fast or anything. Running AHCI into Sata3 ASRock 990FX Extreme4.

Worth the wait

ASRock 990FX Extreme4 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock 990FX Extreme4 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Checked the Egg everyday for a month waiting for the ASRock 990FX. Bought it the first day available. 4 days later, the Fata1ity is available for a few bucks more. Nevertheless, not sure that I could gain anything from the Extreme4. Upgraded from an ASRock 980a board that is still flawless. First foray into Sata3 and USB3. Installed my 6 core 2.8Ghz (1050?) cpu, 16gb Ripjaws X and a Corsair Force 60gb SSD. Everything worked the first time. Bios takes getting used to if you've never used the UEFI format. But it is easier once you get accustomed to it. BIOS update is already out too...not sure what it did, but I updated it anyway...painless. I do use SLI btw with 2 x 8600GTs (yeah, I know) and it works just fine with the new beta Nvidia drivers.

Cons: Silly minor stuff....the manual is in Engrish(?)...lol. The packaging looked cool, but it is really overkill.

Overall Review: Came with a fan for a heatsink (not the northbridge...not sure) that is optional to install. Even came with a little screwdriver! I installed it. After Windows installed, I did load the Overclock Tuner ASRock pushes. It works. It auto OC mine to 3ghz. Overall the system is not as quick as I had thought it would be in my head. You know, moving to Sata3 and SSD at the same time I figured Windows would load "instantly". Well, it doesn't. Maybe 15 seconds. Apps do load quicker though. I see this MB lasting a few years for me. When Bulldozer comes out, I'll upgrade my CPU. Might have to get a bigger SSD too....already used 45 gb of 55 (it's a 60gb SSD), and that's just programs. Haven't tried USB 3.0 yet...guess I need a drive that is 3.0 huh? LOL.
