Pros: Very quiet drive. Put into a Tivo unit & used the Zipper without flaw. It also runs about 5 degrees celsius cooler then the stock HD did which is another nice bonus.
Cons: None.
Great replacement for a netbook. Better than a tablet.
Pros: Long Battery, accurate touch screen, MS Office,
Cons: power charging cable is a bit short, I think it was only 3 ft. If you purchase an extra cable, make sure you get one that is powerful to help speed up the charging. My old cell phone charging cable takes forever to charge.
Overall Review: This is an great replacement for our aging netbook. Windows 8 really shines with the touch screen interface, and the inclusion of Word, Excel & Powerpoint 2013 is a very nice plus. It's the same screen size as a tablet, but is a laptop. Aside from games, I can't think of a reason why you would want to use a tablet in lieu of this. I recommend this for anyone that needs a small PC to do basic web browsing, simple spreadsheets, etc.
Works Great for unRAID boot
Pros: I've been running unRAID continuously on this since 03/2013, and haven't run into a single issue. Works great.
Cons: N/A
Purchased 7 months ago, works perfect
Pros: 4TB drive for less than $200 (I paid $189 in 03/2013 Runs Cool, Runs between 20-30 degrees Celsius
Cons: It's only 5900 RPM, but I use it for media storage, so the speed isn't a problem for me, but could potentially be a problem for others.
Works Great, using as XBMC Box
Pros: Small, HDMI audio/video works out of the box. Quiet. Bluetooth keyboard has great distance. The PC is in the basement, and I can use the keyboard on the 2nd floor.
Cons: When I hooked it up to a 720p TV via HDMI to test, it was outputting 1080p, so I couldn't see anything. I had to hook up a monitor as a 2nd viewing device, to change the resolution for the 720p TV. The Revo might have been confused since the TV is a cheap off-brand, Element. Having said that, when I hooked it up to my 1080p Samsung TV, I didn't have any problems.
Overall Review: I purchased this to use as an XBMC Box. It's a bit of overkill, but I wanted the Atom/Ion combo. I'm still using XP on my main, 7 yr old, PC. While I was setting it up, I fell in love with the PC and Win7. I'd recommend this to anyone that doesn't need an optical drive. I can't believe how fast this box is.
Great for excess Storage
Pros: No Visible lights on front of device. Quiet
Cons: N/A
Overall Review: I'm using this to store media for my XBMC. Works great, and will probably purchase another one.
