Pros: I was very impressed with my initial impression of the camera. This is my first venture into cameras beyond the typical point and shoot cameras. The zoom was very fast and responsive. The very large LCD screen was extremly crisp and clear. Tons of features to keep any geek intrested for hours. I like the option to switch from the external LCD to a display in the view finder. I find using the view finder instead of the LCD when taking pictures makes the image more steady, and to have all the features of the menus on the view finder makes it life easier. This is the camera for a person looking for detailed family photos and better than average vacation pictures.

Cons: The incuded neck strap is the only con I can think of at the moment. Its cheap and I dont feel using it will give the security I want.

Overall Review: I am not a professional photgrapher by any means and nor do I pretend to be one. This is a sub $200 camera with features I have seen on cameras in the $500 range. It is not a top of the line SLR camera and should not be reviewed as such. I think this camera with work wonders for the using I have planned for it, family photos and vaction photos. The camera is smaller than I expected for a 10x optical zoom, its not an ultra compact pocket sized camera nor is it a giant professional size camera. This is exactly what I want in a camera, more zoom and detail than the run of the mill digital camera, but without the cost and size of SLR cameras. If you are looking for something better than the standard 3x optical zoom camera look no further.

Pros: This chip has made me a convert to the ways of Intel. I have been and AMD fan for over a decade but was not liking the options when it came time for a new build. This chip screams right out of the box.

Pros: This board has been working well for several months now, plenty of online and updated support from MSI. Have not had a single worry about it since the day it was installed. I dont recall having to make any changes to get it running right out of the box.

Cons: The bright blue LED that can light up a dark room?

Pros: Have 2 of these installed and they have been running well for several months. Have had no issues or complaints.

Cons: Not the fastest drive out there

Pros: The obvious pros are its cheap and its waterproof. My wife and the kids have had a blast with this camera. The quality is ok for a point and shoot the response is fair as well. Its small and nothing sticks out to get caught on things. Everything is packaged well to make this an easy to use basic point and shoot. The battery charges pretty quickly too maybe a couple hours total. The menus are easy to navigate and laid out well. All in all this is a good camera.

Cons: The biggest con I would say would have to be battery life while having a rechargeable battery that comes with the camera, it has awful life. After a couple hours of use the battery is dead and that is without the flash. The image quality is less than I expected in a 10MP camera the detail just doesnt seem to be as sharp as I would have liked compared to other point and shoots I have in this price range with lower resolutions even. The battery life was the biggest disappointment for sure and the cause of the dent in the overall rating.

Overall Review: One thing to remember this is a cheap point shoot camera not a high end SLR. They are good for one thing using in auto mode and taking simple pictures! You will not be a professional photographer with any point and shoot so there really is no reason to complain about things this camera was not designed to do. Its fun and easy to use and it WATERPROOF!! It does what it says and does it pretty well. Save your money on an XD card because this thing comes with an adapter for a microSD card which are far cheaper. So enjoy what this camera was made for spending time in the water.
