Speedy thing

Intel Core i5-2550K - Core i5 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Without IGP Desktop Processor - BX80623i52550K
Intel Core i5-2550K - Core i5 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Without IGP Desktop Processor - BX80623i52550K

Pros: Fast beyond believe, especially when clocked up. People have said that they were able to overclock this to 5.0GHz, though I haven't tried. I got it to 4.4GHz, and was content with that, so it's clocking speeds are great. It works wonderfully with both Linux and Windows(7 and 8), so there are no OS requirements for it to work well

Cons: No integrated graphics. Usually not a problem, but I was having trouble with my video card awhile back, and that made it a little difficult to figure out what was wrong at first.

Overall Review: I picked it up about a year ago for $240 bucks, definitely worth the price tag. Too bad I got it before they ivy bridge series..

Good BIOS

Intel BOXDP67BGB3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel BOXDP67BGB3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Skull lights are cool, as well as the display manager for possible errors. BIOS utility control is amazing, very easy to customize, and the "back to bios" feature is a special add-on

Cons: It seems to think I have issues where I don't, which results in the machine trying to boot several times before it get's it correctly. Annoying enough to warrant the loss of an egg

Solid case

RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Black 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case With 500W Power Supply
RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Black 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case With 500W Power Supply

Pros: Large case, and it's roomy, easy to work inside. Double hinge doors, so as long as you have the right cable management set up, you can pull out the motherboard side in an easy motion. Large window looks gorgeous, and is well made. Bracket screws for motherboard are made of metal, so stripping it isn't a necessary fear. Cables can be hid behind the case, as well as the GPU cooler Large and room expansion trays Lights are nice, and not overwhelming while also not being hidden.

Cons: molex cables can be a little tired some if you don't get the proper PSU for it PSU fried when I tried running my system

Overall Review: Case came with a small ding on the top, but it's not worth taking an egg off for, this wasn't for a customer. Overall, I'm content with this case, would definitely recommend it to others.
