Nice Replacement Bulb
Pros: I purchased these on a supersaver deal 2 for $10 and installed them two days ago. So I cannot comment on longevity. I placed two in a track lighting fixture in our dining room and they are noticeably brighter than the old bulbs. I have a fixture near my computer that I still had a incandescent bulb in and the change makes for a distinct lower heat output. My wife prefers to leave a light on at the back of our place so she can see when she arrives, and I'm expecting these to reduce our overall power bill by a fair amount.
Cons: There is a brief time between throwing the switch and the bulb coming on. This is likely associated with the few cycles of power it takes to bring the internal power supply up to voltage. The lag is not significant, nor do I expect it to be a nuisance.
Overall Review: I live in the desert southwest, and the heat from an standard filament bulb can significantly increase the heat load in our place. I converted most of our bulbs to CFL two years back and have been unsatisfied with their longevity vs cost and am hoping these last longer
About what you'd expect
Pros: Inexpensive, very light. For what you pay its pretty good. If I drop it in the river I won't be too disappointed. Will probably get a second one to keep on my desk for those days I forget my primary.
Cons: Audio is a little tinny Manual is pretty lacking. The majority of it is in Chinese.
Overall Review: I picked this up because I needed a backup bluetooth because I'm always leaving the primary one. I wasn't expecting much. For ten bucks its not bad. There is no volume control on the device. I called my work voice mail and left three messages. One from my phone, one from my LG, and the YE. Audio quality went pretty much in that order. The audio quality during broadcast is a bit tinny. I'd suspect the DSP filters out some higher end freqs to give it that qualitty. Once I figured out that its volume is tied to phones volume. it made it easier. Still working out how to connect it to two devices. I lost the manual so I'm experimenting.
Good Bulb
Pros: I've been slowly replacing all our bulbs with LED bulbs and I'm very pleased with these so far. The light is far brighter than what I'd expect from a standard 40W bulb and the color is a very bright white.
Cons: None So Far. Some people in reviews have complained about the lag when applying power. Its about half a second to a full second. So far no one in my home has commented on this being a nuisance, or it being overly long.
Overall Review: In this particular order, the initial order never arrived. I suspect the package was stolen. New Egg did its usual outstanding service. They offered me replacement or reimbursement. I chose replacement, and the new bulbs arrived in about 4 days.
Decent Tablet
Pros: Its inexpensive, it runs well with the apps that I've downloaded. The screen is surprisingly bright and vivid I've streamed from a few sources and tested the distance I can go from my wireless and its about the same distance I have on my Samsung S3. Games and video play just fine, I'm using it also for work to take notes and sketches in meetings with a keyboard I got for it.
Cons: Its a little slow to boot up. From power on to the screen where I can enter my security code is about 90 seconds. The manual only covers very basic functions. My tablet froze after three days, and there was no reference to a "master reset" its the small hole on the back of the tablet, you have to hold it down for 10 secs to reboot it. This is not in any of their literature. The literature does not talk about memory management either. I had d/l'd about 9 apps, and on the 10th I was alerted that I did not have enough memory. You have to go in the settings/storage/aps and choose "move them to SD", you cannot do this to all apps to free up memory. It does not appear that it is possible to store any apps on the external card. I sent a question in via NewEgg to the seller and it took 3 days for them to respond, and that response was to call customer support. I called Customer Support on a Wednesday, mid morning and remained on hold for 20 minutes before I could speak to a rep, who was a little condescending about why I had not done the factory reset on it... you know the one that's not on the literature. So the egg I'm knocking off is due to customer support from the seller and the enclosed documentation.
Overall Review: This is advertised as having 4Gb. From the settings/storage screen it shows, 0.98GB for the Internal Storage, it shows 1.64 GB for NAND Flash. I have an 8GB mem card inserted but I'm not sure yet how I can store media on it to access. It would be nice to store my ebooks and audio books on it. I bought this through NewEgg while on sale for $56, so as long as I get a years use out of it I'll feel like I came out ahead, but but except for use with minor media sized files I'll still rely on my laptop.
Easy Upgrade
Pros: Fast Ship, Good Price and easy installation in my wife's laptop.
Cons: None that I've found
Overall Review: I got these because my wife's HP laptop was starting to have memory errors. Typical great NewEgg fast shipping, if you're at all competent with a laptop (heck even if you're not) its an easy installation
New Build
Pros: I chose an over powered PS for future upgrades and this was exactly what a needed, priced right and burly enough to handle my current build and the upgrades I plan to install over the next year.
Cons: Wish the cable management on it was easier, but you know that going into it when you purchase it.
Fast Ship
Considering how far this device had to come, it was pretty quick shipping. Over all pleased with it. Audio sounds a bit tinny but, its a 10 dollar bluetooth. If you're worried about perfect audio pay for it.
Slow Response
I had a problem where my new tablet would not turn on. From my reporting the problem through NewEgg to them contacting me was about 3 days. From order time to ship time was slow as well. I ordered a thumb drive from newegg the day after I ordered this. It arrived three days prior to the tablet arriving. Midday on a wednesday it took 20 minutes on hold to reach a rep. They offer a "leave a message and we'll call you" option, but I did not use it.
