Solid Headphones - Easily Best for Price

Pros: The sound favors the lower register, a plus for those who like dubstep, hip hop or sounds with full bass. This results in the highest pitches tending to be slightly less prevalent. This seems to be the result of a single speaker trying to supply both frequencies. With this being said, for the price (40$ up front - 10$ with a rebate which I did receive in a reasonable amount of time) these headphones go above and beyond what one might expect. With a little tuning these can easily compare to most 80$-100$ headphones. If you catch them on sale, BUY THEM!
Cons: The only major drawback of these headphones is the way they fit around the head. There is a fine balance that helps make headphones comfortable, they cannot rest too much on the top of the head, but also cannot press too hard on the ears. The plastic can be stretched (gently) to account for which you prefer, but they will never be as comfortable as lighter more expensive headphones. The padding around the ears and on the top of the head piece provides ample cushion to reduce the weight, but only to some extent. It should also be noted that if you wear glasses, moving the arms of your glasses above the ear piece will greatly reduce discomfort in the long run. If you have a smaller head (mine is on the larger side) you will most likely wonder why I am complaining at all.
Overall Review: Be prepared to play with audio settings on the device you are listening from. With tuning these headphones are fantastic. As an owner of a wonderful set of Bose headphones, I can honestly say that I do not dread using these to listen to audio. If you are looking for a second pair of headphones to take place that they may disappear, these are a perfect fit. An excellent backup set, or price friendly set of quality headphones.
