Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: Keeps my i52500k OCed to 5.0ghz at 1.52v at 73C 100% load. Idles at around 27C in a 68F room. Decent thermal paste included. I used MX2 after 2 months and got a drop of 4C at 100% load. East to install.

Cons: Fan it came with began to die 2 weeks after I installed it. This was fine for me as I have tons of fans around and swapped it out as well as made a push pull setup.

Overall Review: This cooler is HUGE make sure it will fit in your case before you buy it. It just fits in my case with about 1/4 inch between the side panel and cooler.

Intel Core i5-2500K - Core i5 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I52500K
Intel Core i5-2500K - Core i5 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I52500K

Pros: This CPU is amazing. OCed to 5ghz with a hyper 212+ and never gets above 73C at full load. This thing will blow your mind with its speed. If you don't OC it the stock cooler works perfectly fine with it. Even a mild OC and it will do fine with the stock cooler.

Cons: The thermal paste that comes on the stock cooler is decent but I recommend you get a good paste like MX2 or artic silver. It will make your temps good and low. Also the pins on the stock cooler kind of suck bad as they can pop up and look secured and give you high temps on the CPU. BE CAREFUL when you install this of you use stock cooler and you will be fine.

Overall Review: Get the Intel cpu replacement insurance. Then go nuts with this thing without the worry of having to buy another CPU. It will handle 1.52 volts if you keep temps low. Been folding at 5 ghz 1.52v for 6 months now without skipping a beat. Quit reading and just buy it already!

Zalman 23" LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI MZ230ED
Zalman 23" LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI MZ230ED

Pros: Good price for a 23" 1080p monitor. Both DVI and VGA cords included as well as a cleaning cloth. Power LED is a nice dim green. Not a bright blue one that attracts attention during gaming or is annoying in a bedroom.

Cons: Buttons for menu, power.... don't always work very well. Sometimes you have to push them pretty hard or wiggly them slightly to get them to work. Not a huge deal for me since once I got everything tuned to my liking I have not had to use them since. I don't turn the monitor off either as my computer is on 24/7 and I like it to be instant on. Speakers are pretty terrible but really who buys a monitor for its speakers? Cords are a little bit sort and the power cord doesn't have the traditional plug end (ones used on desktop power supplies). Should you ever have to replace the cord be aware of this. Lastly it has a very limited viewing area. If someone is sitting next to you the images on the screen look really off. If you are viewing it straight on it looks just fine.

OCZ Vertex 3 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) VTX3-25SAT3-120G

Pros: Good fast drive. Good solid adapter bracket included.

Cons: Had a hard time getting my computer to recognize the drive but a quick change of cable order it read just fine.

Overall Review: Really fast cheap SSD would buy again and would recommend for a budget build.

Sinometer DT9205 8-Function 32-Range Digital Multimeter
Sinometer DT9205 8-Function 32-Range Digital Multimeter

Pros: Works good and is a great price. Leads are a decent length and fit firm into meter.

Cons: Instruction book is almost useless. But unit isn't hard to use at all.
