Works as advertised
Overall Review: So far, so good. I installed them in my AM4 X470 motherboard with Ryzen 7 2700X. Set them to the XMP timings and voltage and they've been stable and working fine - no issues.
Doesn't come out of sleep mode
Pros: Small form factor, noiseless, processor will run fine without the optional included fan. Only consumes about 45 - 65 watts while running.
Cons: 90% of the time this motherboard will not come out of sleep mode - either by keyboard command or by pressing the power button. In fact, once it is in sleep mode, if it won't come out of sleep mode, it won't power off either after pressing the power button for the requisite 6 seconds.
Overall Review: I have this setup as part of a home theater PC and was really dissappointed that I could not keep it in sleep mode so I can record shows at any time (my software will wake it up).
Great Almost-A-DSLR
Pros: Great zoom range from 25mm (35mm film equivalent) wide-angle to 600mm telephoto. Lens sharpness is great throughout range. Lots of creative features. Battery has really good life. Accepts 52mm filters!
Cons: Manual focus with the electrical slider switch on the side of the lens is a little tricky. I would have preferred a mechanical focus ring like on my older Lumix FZ20K. Also slider switch can be set to adjust zoom or focus. It would be better to have an option to for it to be a zoom control when taking video and a focus control when taking still photos.
Overall Review: I purchased this camera as an upgrade to my Lumix FZ20K (5MP, 12x zoom), which I have owned for 7+ years. Like the FZ20K the FZ200 maintains a fast F2.8 throughout its zoom range, only this new one is has a 24X zoom at 12MP. The FZ20K has been a great camera, so I am hoping the FZ200 proves to be as durable.
It just works
Pros: Provides easy front panel access for a number of flash drive and external devices.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Installed in my ASUS/AMD based computer and it has no problem reading my SDHC hi-speed flash from my HD video camera, which is the main reason I purchased it. To be fair I have not tried the eSata or USB or other flash card interfaces.
