Great D-pad, Stiff Triggers, Horrendous Dead Zones
Pros: Good Condition: The controller only came with Gread Dpad: At first I was a bit skeptical about the D-pad, but after playing Rouge Legacy and a few SNES games I found the DPad to be comfortable and accurate. Overall Solid Construction: The controller feels solid and all the buttons have nice feedback.
Cons: Stiff Triggers: The springs in the triggers don't seem like they would be that stiff, but because of the way the triggers are angled they feel unnaturally stiff. Fortunately the triggers only need to be pressed in slightly to function. Horrendous Dead Zones: There's nothing much to say other than the Dead Zones on this controller prevent any quick and accurate movements. I tested the controller with Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 and after looking at a few forum it doesn't seem like there is a fix for this, although it might require more research.
Overall Review: I originally bought this controller for it's D-Pad and I am very satisfied with its performance, I was also hoping to completely replace my wireless 360 pad, but the stiff triggers and dead zones prevent me from doing so. Overall if your going to buy this controller for its Dpad I'd say it's a good purchase, But if you wanted to use the controller for its dual thumb sticks and triggers, I'd say you would be better off spending the extra money on a Wired or Wireless 360 pad.
