GREAT MOBO

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: So many features! I like the Remote Go which allows you to do remote desktop on your andriod device. Has many USB ports on the back and two 3.0 usb ports on the back. I love the speed it has and compatability with ram. Great for expansion with Graphics cards and supports cross fire. Has many Sata ports which awesome. The system bios is so easy to use. It is simple to overclock and change ram speed. This Mobo is the best I have ever had! The price was amazing too! I think it was for 134 with a 20 dollar rebate. soooo good!

Cons: NONE

Overall Review: This is the best mobo I have ever purchased. The bios is simple and there are just so many features this mobo offers. I would reccomend this to anyone looking for a great mobo for their build.

Nice Case

IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case is very attractive. Holds all my drives and wires nicely. The case has an OK space for hiding wires on the other side of the panel. Easy to install 120mm fans. I love the top dock support for drop in Sata HDD/SSD. I love the side panel window since its big and a bit tinted so when you have lighting in your case it wont be too bright but enough for you to enjoy looking at the sessi insides. I like the fan speed control on the top as well which lets you switch from silent to turbo.

Cons: The case holds 120mm fans but its with clamps. The top area that can hold two 120mm fans will not allow you to hold a 240mm radiator cooling system since you can't put screws in. The biggest problem with the top area is there is room for two 120mm but only one fan is able to vent fully and the other area is halfway blocked by the case since there is not enough vent holes. The bottom area where it holds the PSU is decent. Big problem is that if you have a big PSU like mine which is 850 watts. It will not support holding another 120 mm fan on the bottom. The In Win logo is on the side but thats not too big of a deal.

Overall Review: I knocked off 2 eggs because of the flawed case design. that being the fans are not able to host a 240mm radiator cooler. and the case blocks the vent on the top for a 120 mm fan thus vent is not effective. Case works fine though with a radiator cooler on the bad of the case.

AMD

AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz (4.2 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor

Pros: Super fast and works great!~ Overclocking is easy! I have played Titan Fall and it runs is fast and great.

Cons: NONE!

Overall Review: It runs a bit hot even with a radiator cooling system. I can keep it a cool 33 c on average. but when gaming it goes to 40 c. Not sure how hot it would be with the stock headsink and fan. But I am very happy with the speed and power this CPU has.

Silent fans

COUGAR Vortex PWM 120mm (CF-V12HP) Cooling Fan with Hydro-Dynamic Bearing and Pulse Width Modulation (Orange Version)

Pros: Super silent fans! I put these fans on low speed and you do not notice them at all. When you put them on high speed its not that bad and when you walk about 7 feet away its like its not even on.

Cons: NONE

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C9D-8GXL

Pros: Works great on my Asus Mobo M5A99FX Pro R2.0 All I did was install the ram onto my Mobo and it works immediately.

Cons: NONE!

Overall Review: When you install the ram when you turn on the comp it works stock at 1600 mhz. I just went into Bios and switched it to 2133 mhz and works perfectly. System bios and windows 7 both recognize the ram as 8 gigs. Works great! Love Gksill!
