Great office CPU

AMD Athlon 64 LE-1600 - Athlon 64 Single-Core 2.2 GHz Socket AM2 45W Processor - ADH1600DHBOX

Pros: Great price for one. It's a great 'lite' cpu for office systems that only do data entry type stuff.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I've used these for almost a year now in five doctor's offices and haven't had a hiccup yet. Pair it with an MSI K9N6SGM Mobo and you're set to pop.

Nice case but the design leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros: I like the case in general, specifically the pop out front covers for the drive bays. However, the rest of the case is very difficult to work with. First off, you can't use a CD/DVD drive if you use a mid or larger motherboard. It will not fit all the way into the only 5 1/4 slot in the case without hitting the mobo. I purchased the ASRock B450M PRO4 AM4 AMD Promontory B450 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with this case and found out this problem after everything was wired, cable tied and done. The last thing I did was install the DVD drive. It just doesn't fit. I'm still deciding whether to just leave it be or return the case. Secondly, the PSU fan is on the bottom of the case. At first I thought this was nice but then realized the intake fan is literally 1/4" off the floor (the height of the case feet). The HDD's are tricky to wire up without angled SATA cables and even then, it's still a bunch of weaving them through the various parts of the chassis. If

The last thing I did was install the DVD drive. It just doesn't fit. It sticks out about 1" from the front of the case. This also means that you can't screw the DVD into the chassis. Overall Review: I would recommend this case only if you are using an external CD/DVD drive (which I don't have). I would not purchase this case again for the reasons stated above.

Great Case but...

Pros: Nice and sturdy. Lots of room and no sharp edges...yet.

Cons: No SATA power connections. 4 SATA drives but no power...seems a bit odd no?

Overall Review: I'd give it 5 eggs but if I didn't have some spare SATA converters I'd be outta luck.

Make sure you get a fan

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 65W Black Edition Processor - ADO5000DSWOF

Pros: Nice and fast, easy install. The usual stuff, it's just a CPU after all.

Cons: No indication whatsoever that it didn't come with a fan/heatsink. Retail usually means: CPU w/Heat Sink & Fan. I guess not on the Black Edition or just this particular one. Usually not a big deal but it took 2 days and an extra $18 for a fan/sink.

Overall Review: None really, I built a new system with this as the core and it runs great so far (2 days). XP Pro installed in about 20 min. It reboots in less than 1 min. and with the QPaq case and an ASUS board it flies and is quiet as heck.
