Pros: Works great and does what it is supposed to. Nice sleek design. Nothing over the top just clean.

Cons: Absolutely None.

Other Thoughts: I have a high end PC I built a about a year ago with a heavy custom water cooling setup. I actually have my PC sitting across the room and in a corner quite a ways away from my desk (10 feet away or so). So I picked up a USB 3.0 Active extension cable and use this TP-Link Hub sitting on my desk and out of the way. Works perfectly with all my gaming devices plugged into it. I had previously installed a couple switches under my desk for switching on/off my PC and water cooling system, I ran the USB 3.0 extension along the same route as those wires so they are hidden and out of the way. Makes for an extremely clean looking desk for a powerful gaming system and leaves plenty of room for more monitors!

* I bought this TP-Link from another seller before it was available here on Newegg

Pros: This is by far the best single GPU card I have ever owned.

Overclocks like a champ!
Temperatures aren't as bad as I thought they would be with the stock FHS.

Cons: None

Well..... Owning one makes me want to buy another...

Other Thoughts: I was previously running a 780 Ti SLI setup. My 780 Ti's were overclocked nicely and performed well. However, I was noticing issues in some games because of the 3GB VRAM cap. I use a 144hz monitor and like to be able to get high framerates and smooth gameplay while I am gaming. Since the 780 Ti setup wasn't really cutting it for me anymore I decided to pick up one of these Titan X for the massive amount of VRAM it was boasting and to see what kind of performance I could get out of it.

Titan X installed 780 Ti SLI setup put to the pasture:
This card is amazing!! I was not expecting to get the kind of performance I am getting out of this thing. Stock BIOS with Stock FHS I easily OC'd to hit 1450MHZ on the core. Temps aren't bad at all. Ambient room temps are between 68F and 70F my card never went over 60C with an aggressive Fan Profile.

On top of that. I am seeing performance from this SINGLE Titan X that is on par with my 780 Ti SLI OC'd setup. To me, that is amazing. I no longer suffer from lack of VRAM either, so gone are the days of high framerates with intermittent stutter from hitting the 3GB VRAM ceiling. In GTA V I'm seeing my VRAM usage go over 4GB at 2560x1440. So this thing is already doing it's job. And doing it well. I'm also not seeing minimum framerate as low as what I would sometimes see with my 780 Ti's.

Definitely worth the upgrade!!

ASUS ROG PG278Q Black 27

Pros: No dead pixels
No noticeable light bleed
2560x1440 27"

Cons: None that I have seen

Other Thoughts: I am coming from a BenQ XL2420TE 144hz 1920x1080 24" monitor. My BenQ had one Stuck pixel in the top right portion of the screen. I was never able to "fix" the stuck pixel and since it was only one stuck pixel I could not get the monitor replaced. It wasn't bad, but for the amount I payed it should have never been there.

That being said, I was praying that this monitor wouldn't have any of the issues everyone writing these negative reviews say they have. Luckily I received a very nice monitor with no dead/stuck pixels, no noticeable light bleed, with everything working nice and fine.

This monitor has exceeded all my expectations. I had been running 2k and 4k in DSR mode on my 1080p BenQ for a while now and thought I wouldn't notice much difference going with this monitor. Boy was I wrong. The move from 24" to 27" is way more noticeable than I thought it would be and the clarity/crispness is superb. Looks way better than I thought it would.

Kudos Asus!
