Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: As of this review, this card appears to have been discontinued for having such a high failure rate, as it's no longer listed in EVGA's product line-up. EVGA tech support was quick to blame the card when presented with the problems listed above, and offered an upgraded RMA option while still paying for shipping both ways. They answered any questions within 24 hours, excluding weekends/holidays. The ones I spoke to over the phone were based in California, for those who care what country tech support lives in.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Managed to get this on sale. Excellent value for the money then, but still wouldn't mind buying another at standard cost. The cheap bag got thrown away.

Thermaltake Armor A90 Black Steel / Plastic Gaming ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case VL98521W2U w/ 850W W0319RU Modular Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: -Spacious (just a hair shorter than CoolerMaster HAF)
-Good colors and design
-Good number of included fans with room for more (on the side panel)
-Ports for liquid cooling setups
-Tool-free HDD and optical bays
-Plenty of slack on the front panel cables for routing
-Magnetic locking front cover... less likely to break than the older plastic tab style
-Stamped motherboard mounting holes for a quick way to see where risers need to be

Cons: -750W PSU/850W peak PSU
-Incompatibility with my motherboard. Flipping the switch, the motherboard standby power LED will flash once and shut off. After removing everything that could be removed with no improvement, I checked the main power connectors against a much older board and got a standby LED instantly.
-Most of the power cables have no room for adjustment... routing the SATA power cables using the tie loops on the back wall pulls down on the connector for the top 5.25 drive a little too hard
-The tool-free latches for the 5.25 bays leave no room for adjustment; my DVD burner does not sit flush with the false panels
-It cut me and stole some blood... somewhere... probably the bent corner of the power supply

Other Thoughts: This case is an excellent buy without the included power supply. Save yourself the trouble and get something that scored higher in benchmarks and stress testing. Would you buy any other 850W(750) power supply for ~$60 comfortably?

Fails to power ASUS P5VD2-MX SE board... powers older ASUS P4P800 just fine. I was looking for an excuse to replace that motherboard anyway; hopefully the new one fares better.
