CM11 + LGV500 FTW!

LG G Pad 8.3 Tablet - Quad-Core 2GB RAM 16GB Flash 8.3" Full HD Display Android 4.2, White (LGV500.AUSAWH)
LG G Pad 8.3 Tablet - Quad-Core 2GB RAM 16GB Flash 8.3" Full HD Display Android 4.2, White (LGV500.AUSAWH)

Pros: Once you dump the stock ROM this device really flies. It is snappy and the screen looks great. The size is perfect for pretty much everything and it is super light weight.

Cons: -Back is cool looking aluminum but quite slippery, get a case. -Price is all over the place, I got it for $250 which is the most I would pay for this tablet. Bezos has them for $269 as of this writing. -No tablet seems to be able to run .MKV video files so I cannot watch certain files.

Overall Review: Good deal, I am very happy with this device. Installing CM11 + TWRP was very easy and now it is basically a Google Edition device for $100 off list price

Touch screen hardware problems - do not buy

ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T 1GB DDR3 Memory 10.1" 1280 x 800 Tablet - Blue Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Blue
ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T 1GB DDR3 Memory 10.1" 1280 x 800 Tablet - Blue Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Blue

Pros: While it worked it was a good tablet, not as snappy and responsive as my Nexus 10 but that is likely due to the fact that I am accustomed to running stock Android.

Cons: Touch screen becomes unresponsive after a while and it seems to be a hardware related issue. The problem didn't appear within my 30 day RMA window so now i am stuck with a tablet where the touch screen occasionally goes nuts like someone else is trying to use it at the same time or else where the accuracy of the touchscreen is off and you cannot reliably hit the on screen icons to navigate. Basically makes it useless. I got this for my wife as a travel machine and now she is back to stealing my Nexus because it just works reliably even if it doesn't have a keyboard.

Overall Review: TL;DR: This device _will_ break, do not buy. I have bought other ASUS products and enjoyed them but this refurb unit is a time bomb that will leave you having to pay for a repair out of pocket, thereby nullifying any savings on it. I am a longtime newegg user and this is the first time that i have purchased something here that is defective that I am now stuck with because the defect doesn't become apparent immediately.
