Best sound for the Price
Pros: compare to Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD 24-bit 96KHz, this thing still blow it away, I been having it for 3 years now, the most Clean, clear, deep sound, you can hear the high, mid, bass, it's a true 24bit sound....mixer console software are simple. It's the most fast sound card for Sonar or Cubase. If you a pro and don't want to spend a lots of money, this is the sound card for you. trust me, I been testing all kinds of sound card for over 10 years now, ..Soundblaster are good for beginner and Gamer,,,,M-Audio is all about quality baby....Only pro can hear and tell the different, ....run this sound card into your Mackie mini mixer ,,and hook you studio monitor and condense microphone into the mixer...even a cheap studio monitor will sound good ...It'll make you Dvd movie and MP3 rock....and for recording.... it's the most clean sound.
Cons: Price still the same for the last 3 years, I thought they would go down on their price, but No, it's still the same, I got it from other website for $179 3 years ago, but it's an oem version with no refund.....still it 's worth every penny... You'll need to buy a small Mixer to with this sound card.
Overall Review: If they want to expand their market to the Gamer and non professional users, they need to take lesson from Creative sound blaster....Even those Sound blaster is slow and not as good , but the Console software is Awesome and you can hook up the microphone and sing Karoke, recording is a lots easier too, most kids love sound blaster, because of it's flexibility and ease of uses....IF M-Audio could meet, that demand, definitely, they will blow everyone out, because of their quality and powerful sound card...What I wound do if I was the CEO, I would create a mini analog mixer , where you can insert into the DVD or CD slot in front panel, similar to sound blaster...the mixer would take about 2 to 3 CD slot in from of the computer, it should contain everything a normal mixer have, eq,efffect, ect....if M-Audio can incorporated a mixer into a computer, I believe the sell will sky rock...
not working , very disappointed, after reading the review, I though it would work, but I was wrong!!!
Pros: make sure it compatible with your motherboard or go buy "M.2 NVMe SSD NGFF TO PCIE 3.0 X16 Adapter M Key Interface" It's much more compatible to most motherboard and faster.
Cons: Hp xw8600 workstation, window 10 pro, 512 GB Hp SSD EX920 M.2 , It won't even detected it in the BIOS. try to update bios and install NEW driver , No Good, NOTHING. So I return it and purchase "M.2 NVMe SSD NGFF TO PCIE 3.0 X16 Adapter M Key Interface, "
Overall Review: Don't waste your time, go and purchase "M.2 NVMe SSD NGFF TO PCIE 3.0 X16 Adapter M Key Interface"
Good Price for Pro quality
Pros: Good Price for Pro quality, the most powerful soundblaster I ever used. I been using Sound blaster for 10 years now, this is the best so far. compare to other brand like M-audio, this is the best price...
Cons: "software issue"...if you are using 64bit window 7, don't make a mistake by using the CD that came with, go to the website and download the BETA DRIVER....retart everytime you install each program or you will be screw. follow direction, close all application first, or you will get screw.....if you are screw, the only SOLUTION...is to reboot or reinstall you WINDOWS....LOL..I know it suck, but I try everything but this is the only way...trust me... and lastly after you reinstall your OS,... soundblaster should be the first thing installed before any other program.
Overall Review: even those the sound quality is improved, but there are a lots of things, creative left out, I kind of like the old sound blaster better, when they use to have a midi part, included, and etc....the previous generation is much more easier to use, should have just stay with the traditional way.
