It's a case and it holds things
Pros: Room for loads of fans, keeps my air cooled system at a decent operating temperature, and I haven't had a single problem with it as far as function.
Cons: Collects more dust than a friggin' vacuum cleaner. The thingy at the top that looks deceptively like a handle is probably not a handle. Other than that, nothing. Not really a con, buuut my idiot clumsy girlfriend stepped on my phone cable on the front USB 3.0 port (of all ports to lose, right?) and that did not stand up to the mighty destructive force of godzilla's warpath. Can't fault the case though.
Overall Review: I turned off the silly LED lights. No thoughts on those.
It works
Pros: It does the job. Doesn't go over the top but it does the job.
Cons: None that I can think of. Has worked as intended for over two years.
It shows me pornographical content.
Pros: Great. No dead pixels in two years. Always has served me well and I'm enjoying it to this day with zero problems.
Cons: * Screen goes to sleep while I'm watching a movie and I can't for the life of me figure out why. * Have another Acer model LCD monitor as well and the color on the two are slightly mismatched. Not really a problem, but I'd keep an eye on that sort of issue. * Can now see peculiarities and blemishes with my favorite pornographical stars and my NSFW collection of wallpapers are all required to be super HD, which takes up a lot of disk space.
I wish it was a bluray drive
Pros: It does everything it says it will do and hasn't spontaneously died or caught flame in glorious fashion.
Cons: Sorta loud on start up. I'm not sure why that is as I've never seen it do damage to a disk and the functionality is totally unaffected. Is it supposed to make some sort of awful grinding noise for a brief few seconds?
Overall Review: Now that I'm this far down the road I would suggest you pony up the extra cash for a bluray drive. I know, I know, you're telling yourself you won't need it. Just, do yourself a favor and get it, or buy a PS3 or something because everything's going to bluray these days. I've used the DVD player as a DVD literally maybe three times in two years, and I watch a LOT of movies.
Is Good Processor
Pros: Has done well for gaming and loads of adult content streamed in 1080p. I've had one bluescreen in two years and that was the fault of the game, not the processor. For a middle of the line gaming rig it's more than sufficient and works like a dream without a hiccup.
Cons: Streaming doesn't seem to work out too well, and video capture goes full derp sometimes or looks awful. This could be due in large part to the fact that I also don't know how to do it. My roommate won't shut up about how his ancient i7 is "just as good" even though we both know it's getting outdated, no matter how much he tries to justify that my newer-than-his-machine is still somehow inferior to his machine. I can't really think of a con, actually. I didn't even use the silly fan out of the box. I have it somewhere but I never used it. So in that light I've also never had a problem with it either.
Solid Board
Pros: Gaming dozens of hours a week has presented nothing but rock solid performance. Still a strong backbone to my rig and after an upgrade in the next year I'm positive I'll be using it more.
Cons: Haven't had any in two years. I'm sure it's unrelated but the only thing in two years that I've lost is a power supply 1.75 years into ownership of my rig.
