Pros: This item is Fantastic. If you have to pay to play on line for xbox, this is the way to buy it. Everywhere else this item sells for $50. Its like getting 3 months for free. Great Deal. Now you can listen to all those immature 12 year olds trash talk on COD or NHL09. What a treat

Pros: price was good.

Cons: inconsistant. I purchased 3 of these with the intent of setting up 1 in my basement, 1 on the first floor, and 1 on the second floor to insure I had maximum signal strength no matter where I went in my home. I had issues from the start. I tried all kinds of configurations but they kept interfering with one another. I tried getting each one on a different channel and named each hotspot with a different name, tried putting them all on the same name and same channel and many other combos. Nothing worked. Kept losing connection. Then i finally gave up and only set up 1 hotspot. Worked for a while and then I started having connection issues. All my devices started losing connection and then reconnecting. Over and over. So I finally swapped it out witth one of the other ones I had lying around from my previous failed attempt at using all 3 at the same time. That one worked for about 6 weeks and now it is doing the same thing as the other one. I swear the 3rd one is DOA. It never worked right at all.

Overall Review: I would not buy these at all unless you like endless troubleshooting and problems. This product is just terrible. makes me afraid to buy anything from them at all. I love Newegg but this time I am disappointed in this product. I imagine these are still under warranty as the warranty is 3 years but not sure what good it would do to get a replacement as they would probably do the same thing.

Pros: None. Worked for a little while. I watched BR 3 movies with it. Was hard getting them to play from the get go. Included software (Power DVD) did not work. I was forced to buy Total Media Theater 5 to get movies to play and I still had issues getting them to start.

Cons: I hardly used this thing and when I tried to use it back in September 2012 ( I had not tried using it in almost a year) it no longer worked. It does not read or write. Makes a bunch of clicking sounds when a disc is put in. I finally get a message saying the disc cannot be read. Wont read music CD, Blu-Ray, or DVD. Will not write either. Total JUNK. I am very gentle on my equipment and I find myself up the creek without a paddle every time I buy an optical drive.

Overall Review: I have had several other optical drives fail the same way. I use them very little and when I need one they fail on me. I am sick of spending money on an optical drive every time I need one. It used to be that they lasted forever. Now I cant get one to last a year or 2 with very little use. If I could give this less than 1 egg I would.

Pros: Good Price

Cons: Only used a few times in my HTPC build. I had trouble with the software that it came with (Power DVD 9) so I had to install and buy Total Media Theater 5 to get it to work. I recently tried to use it to install some software on my computer but it would not read the disc. I tried several other discs and same result. I reformatted my system to install a SSD drive and I tried to install the drivers and firmware again. It updated a couple times successfully but now it pops up on me every day asking me to update the firmware and then it fails to update. Really annoying. I will not read any Blu Ray discs, DVD movies or regular software discs. It will sort of read Music CD but it plays real choppy which I am sure has to do with the poor drive reading. I have only watched 3 Blu Ray movies with this drive in about 18months of ownership. I wish I had used it more before it failed

Overall Review: Cheap Blu Ray = expensive cost of ownership cause now I have to buy another one. I feel Violated, cheap and used. Shame on LG for making such a poor quality product. I know that its out of warranty but someone should make this right.

Pros: looks nice sitting on my desk. Makes for an expensive paper weight.

Cons: Would be nice if it wasnt serving as a paperweight. Called on 6-30 to ASUS and they gave me RMA. I shipped it Priority mail on July 8 and was told it would be delivered on July 11. I called on July 14 and was told that it did not arrive (Barbara Streisand). I called again on July 15 and asked to speak with a Manager, was promised to receive a call back within 24 hours(which came and went without a response). I called again on July 18, was promised a call back (no response), July 19 called again and was promised a call before end of business that day but I never got a call. Called again today July 20 and demanded to speak with a supervisor. He is supposed to call me back by end of business Friday July 22.. I will believe it when I get the call. I might actually have a heart attack if they call me back. I will update this with the ongoing results.

Overall Review: I unfortunately purchased 2 of these from another store on May 20. I normally buy everything from Newegg but they were out of stock. My charger quit working on June 29 so it only lasted for about a dozen charges before it died. Bad Support from ASUS and horrible availability of replacement chargers from ASUS. Talk about a poorly managed company. Asus does not even deserve 1 egg for their poor support of their products.
