Pros: It uses the CMI8788 chip set which is one of the premiere chip sets for audio listening. It does offer a 5.1 output but I have it hooked up to a pair of high quality powered 2.0 speakers and the card sounds as good if not better than it did with the dragonfly usb DAC. Despite the limitations, this produces sound as good as a 250$ external DAC for about 25$. Suffice to say, you should just buy this card as it is a fantastic deal. This card will work with linux but only the rear jacks.

Cons: This chipset has limited linux support. The rear 5.1 and digital out will work but the front headphone jack will not. I am surprised that a company like Asus didn't put out an open source driver but they chose not to and basically this required a driver to be backward induced. Also do not expect any other feature to work other than audio out if you are buying this for a linux system.

Overall Review: This card is about 25$ and sounds infinitely better than the mother board. It is PCI but they do make a PCIe card and I built my computer on the cusp of the transition. I wouldn't think twice about buying this card.

Overall Review: I have a mac pro dual dual 2.66ghz with 5 gb of ram. It's about 3 years old and I got it for basically compiling. It's a great computer, but it's not a game computer. I realized this when I put the card in and it didn't come with the PCIe aux power cables that fit the MB. After talking with apple they had no clue what I was talking about ,even though there are cables for the 5000$ graphics cards offered, but the cables are not sold. I would have to buy them from a 3rd party would and that would cost another 60$. For the price of the card plus 60$ it just wasn't worth it for the possibility that it MIGHT work, no guarantee. It looks like an awesome graphics card, but not worth dealing with building a gaming comp on top of my already fantastic computer I own. Newegg customer service was fantastic and I give them massive credit, just wish that someone had said, this won't work at all with the very high end mac gear. But they don't have that control.

Pros: It works really well. I am of the opinion that the surge protection won't do a thing since house surge protectors should do all of the lifting, but it is a nice 6:1. I was confused by one of the comments which stated that a piece of plastic was preventing it from being plugged in. The piece of plastic referred to goes in the ground slot of the second outlet in a standard american two outlet... outlet. The screw would hold it in place IF your faceplate and outlet has the screw in the middle as some do but you don't need it. It would be helpful for stability but I have 6 components on mine and it only falls out when I try to remove one of the plugs. My faceplate and outlet do not have a screw in the middle. It is one where the screws holding the faceplate on are above and below the sockets. I doubt that the surge protection will work for anything resembling a major strike but it isn't designed to do that anyway. The positional outlets are really nice.

Cons: None so far but in the description it would have been helpful to know that you don't need to screw it into the wall and where the bit of plastic goes.

Overall Review: Expect this to take up an entire two outlets. The screw is nice but not needed and only adds to stability. As with all of these units, be very careful how much you plug into them as these can pop your breaker easily.

Overall Review: It is a great quality cable and 6ft is a nice length. I could have even used 10 but that is a lot of cable.

Pros: It is ink. It lasts about as well as they say it does. I have an HP and even though I know that they make all of their money from ink, I buy their ink because it works well. I have had mixed results with aftermarket ink (including one which destroyed a printer because the cartridge leaked everywhere inside the printer) An addition, each box comes with a UPS label so it just gets sent back to HP. Great product. Good ink. No fuss.

Cons: I can't think of anything.

Overall Review: Seriously, it is ink. Buying two gets you a massive discount. Newegg shipping was amazingly fast. I don't know what else to say that would be even moderately helpful.

Pros: I pluged it in, turned it on, and it worked with Ubuntu. For people who have been using linux for as long as I have, this is well worthy of 5 or even more stars. I basically wanted to free up ram and bypass the i7 gpu so I got this. It was 10$ (shocker deal for 25$ with 15$ mail in) and for 10$ to have this work is just wonderful.

Cons: Obviously not the greatest power card. The box is funny about being able to play the latest games. I am not gaming with this computer. I just wanted a slightly better card than my native one and perhaps to play some steam games. If you want to play the latest games at 1080p this will not work for you. If you want to free up some system ram and maybe play a steam game, this might.

Overall Review: I can't believe that this just magically worked.
