Pros: Kind sir, This is a quad channel kit, if you are trying to run all 4 sticks in an 1155/1156 system or AMD system, it WILL NOT be able to run at those timing settings, they would need to run looser timings due to the double population per channel, if you are running this in a 2011 system which I doubt since you are using the avexir 8gb kit presently (2x4gb) then the ram is bad. But don't knock the ram for using it in a system that it wasn't spec'ed for.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Wish people would read the descriptions of the products before ordering things.

Pros: You will NEVER see that 10Gb/s, that is the maximum throughput that the Thunderbolt port is capable of, the hard drive inside this external unit is still a spinning platter drive, so, since it is the slow point, you might get to see between 50-100Mb/s in transfer speeds. It's the hard drive inside that's slowing it down. Use an SSD in a thunderbolt enclosure and you will see 3-5 times that speed.
Cons: None
Overall Review: People should read up on technology before buying it!
AMD FX-9590
Pros: AMD fans will think it's the cats pajamas. It's got a 5.0Ghz turbo clock.
Cons: 220watt TDP. Still built with the lacking Piledriver architecture. Given the high stock clock speed, it's performance SHOULD be better than it is, but Piledriver/Vishera architecture is still holding it down, it's just an inefficient way to build a processor.
Overall Review: Ok, in the benchmark testing done, with all CPUs running at stock clocks, and turbo engaged if available, this CPU doesn't do that bad against the i5 and i7 INTELS in some benchmarks, it's about even with the i7's in 115x sockets in SOME benches, as we already know with AMD it's single threaded performance isn't even up to i3 performance. BUT, it is priced higher than all but the i7extreme procs, and it's still a 220w TDP. And the less expensive i7's and i5's in the 115x sockets STILL beat it in MOST benchmarks (and are way cheaper and lower temp also). It's neat to see a 5ghz stock proc. but since you can get an intel i5/i7 OR AMD FX-8350 to that same speed through OC, for half the price or better, it's like looking back at Netwar days again. And once you OC them, the true lack of performance from the 9590 shows through.
Don't be afraid to buy this Ram
Pros: I have this memory running in an ASRock Z77 WS motherboard with an i7-3770k and it works fine if you understand that the memory is NOT meant to run at cas 11 in anything but quad channel lga2011 systems. I had to manually set timings to 12-12-12-33 2T and it runs fine, to think that you can run a quad channel kit on a dual channel system at its rated timing is just stupid. Look at what you are buying please folks, if the kit has 4 sticks of memory, it was probably meant for an LGA2011 system, NOT an 1155 system. If you are trying to populate all of your ram slots, you WILL NOT be able to run the Ram at its "standard" settings!
Cons: Not a thing.
Overall Review: Please know what your are doing before you write a negative review about something, and make sure your are using the product in/on the intended system as the manufacturer intended
need Ivy Bridge to run at 2400
Pros: Works just fine in my z77WS with a 3770k, ALL of the Sandy Bridge Procs will not run this at 2400, only 2133 due to a limitation in the CPU itself. Ivy Brudge does just fine!
Cons: Will not work at 2400mhz with Sandy Bridge procs, NOT the memory's fault, that's the procs fault.
Overall Review: Switched back and forth with exact same system only changing out the 2700k for 3770k. Sandy Bridge will not run this at 2400, the proc CAN'T do it, which is sad, because the 2700k oc's way better than the 3770k, but the memory works great with Ivy Bridge!
GeIL Evo Corsa 1866
Pros: This memory has run great for the last 7 months, I have this installed in my mobile gaming rig and its is just great. Set the bios to the XMP profile and its running at 1866 as it should.
Cons: None at all
