Pros: I bought this disk to clone Windows hard drives/SDD drives. Norton Ghost never worked, but Acronis True Image 2013 Plus does the job without fail! Just remember to NEVER try a disk clone within windows. Always boot from a CD that Acronis has you make for cloning.

Cons: None. By far and away the best disk cloning product on the market. It has saved me endless hours of reinstalling the OS and installed software.

Overall Review: The Plus version is made to clone disks of various sizes to each other provided you don't have to much data on the source disk to fit on the destination disk. Copies HDDs to SSDs without fail!

Pros: Works better than Norton Utilities, but that is a very very low standard of performance for computer maintenance!

Cons: This program comes with a set of other programs that it wants to install on your computer. One of them is their antivirus. After the computer scan it was directed (available options) not to interfere with my installed anti virus/firewall but System Mech. set a parameter in the computer to disable my anti-virus/firewall at boot up, each and every time. Somehow it over rides the Windows boot start up commands.

Overall Review: Instead of making a product that works well on its own, iOLO seems more intent on installing and then selling you its other software such as its anti-virus. The program will not comply with the after scan options you select. It does its thing and you live with the consequence, like it or not. Thankfully I have a full system back up for restoration.

Pros: This is a very fast SSD and the Magician software seems good. Prices have come down and 1 TB SSDs are now available. Do your research before buying this 840 EVO line of SSD's!!!

Cons: All of the Samsung Evo 840 Evo series seem to have a serious problem that degrades file access performance on files over 30 days old. Samsung recently issued its "Performance Restoring Software" to counteract this. However, be advised that this is an hour or more long process for a 500 GB SSD. And, it appears that this will need to be done about every 30 days or so to maintain performance. Most people don't want an SSD or HD that requires this excessively high level of maintenance each month, year in and year out. Avoid the 840 EVO series of drives.

Overall Review: Samsung should do the honorable thing and own up to its design flaw for the 840 EVO’s by replacing each one with a newer model that is not this dysfunctional. Samsung should not make their customers bear the brunt of their poor product! Buyer Beware!

Pros: Box looks nice. Claims to do a lot.

Cons: Nero 14 Platinum is a poorly prepared product that is full of bugs preventing full performance and functionality. In Win 8.1 64 bit Nero 14 Platinum can only be used to play standard DVD content, not AVCHD or Blue Ray, even one’s that were burned in Nero. If you install this program, be sure to immediately get the program up dates. For DVD authoring, it is similarly full of bugs and poorly written code, such that its Blue Ray DVD rendering is chock full of artifacts and blurring. It is so fraught with buggy code and headaches that you will wish you never bought this product. Nero simply has over focused on whiz bang sales gimmicks and profits rather than fully prepare their product for real world use. To address the voluminous problems and make a lot of money, Nero (which vigorously evades consumer complaints and input) has teamed up with iTOK and Trend Micro anti virus to get you to buy $110 in on-line computer cleaning and that anti virus, just to make Nero 14 functional! The iTOK tech got one part of Nero 14 to work, but Nero 14 is so poorly implemented that one must question the programs usefulness, even if you get it for next to nothing with rebates. iTOK also contracts you to an expensive $20 per month computer maintenance fee, each and every month. The iTOK tech used freeware programs such as CC cleaner, thisisudax.org, and Tool Bar Cleaner. In DVD burning, Nero has continued its’ old DVD menus and added some new “3D” menu’s. The problem here is that Nero’s “Animated Menu’s” and “3D” menu’s are really just video files that play on DVD start up. Little can be done with these. The “3D” menus are crude and look like they were meant to impress those in their tween years. They are not professional level menu’s. Nero needs to actually test their product and make it work as claimed.

Overall Review: In sum, Nero 14 Platinum is not recommendable at this time. Upgrade from Nero 12 Platinum is not recommended.

Pros: Works good for about 2 days. Prints fast. Looks impressive but this is countered by limited functionality.

Cons: This printer has poor paper handling and CANNOT load photo quality paper at all! It is a printer intended to advertise HP papers and relegates all other papers to it won't work well design intent. This printer is intended for brain dead and low quality high volume business uses only. It has NO ability to preview the document before printing, it has a maximum print of 600 DPI, it has no ability to turn its self off after specified idle time, its LCD instruction manual is a painful experience, and the printed manual is a joke! It has only one paper tray which requires changing its tray settings and reloading every time you want to print an envelope or other paper size. Be prepared to buy HP paper products.

Overall Review: This is my first HP printer. I am going to return it as defective and buy another Cannon!

Pros: NONE A pure waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One egg is one egg to many!!!!!

Cons: This drive will not be recognized in either Win 7 and Win 8. Toshiba offers no practical support for it and you cannot find any reference to it on their web site. They offer no way to contact them. They show no interest in working with the customer, only selling their junk to you.

Overall Review: More evidence that a big company makes and sells junk ware that is not user friendly. There is no excuse for this type of rubbish being manufactured and set loose upon society! Do Not buy this lame and fail prone trash.
