Excellent!

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9B
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9B

Pros: Slotted six of these in to my Socket 1336 motherboard. Good price and stable operation.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I'm not doing any overclocking so I don't necessarily need the higher speeds, but this was a great value for spiffing up a 2010 machine.

Weak chain

Oravo SP8584 "Passionate Pledge" 3.00 cttw Heart Shape Swiss Blue Topaz Sterling Silver Pendant with 18" Necklace

Pros: Looks great, good price. Wife was pleased.

Cons: Chain is very cheaply made. It broke almost immediately, which made me feel dumb for buying it.

Overall Review: Thumbs down on the chain. Probably would not buy from this company again.

Unreliable with poor drivers

ASUS PCE-N53 Dual-Band Wireless-N600 Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n PCI Express Up to 300Mbps downlink+300Mbps uplink Wireless Data Rates
ASUS PCE-N53 Dual-Band Wireless-N600 Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n PCI Express Up to 300Mbps downlink+300Mbps uplink Wireless Data Rates

Pros: I got this card about a year ago because it was a good price and was dual-band. I was hoping to be able to use a 5 Ghz connection for file transfers and video streaming, not to mention gaming on my desktop. Wifi speeds from a card like this with decent reception should be more than enough to surpass my cable internet connection.

Cons: Unfortunately, I have not had a very good experience with this card. I have installed the latest drivers from Windows Update but my otherwise-stable desktop build experiences frequent stuttering (lasting up to 2-3 seconds) where the mouse freezes and any currently playing audio loops. Sometimes the computer freezes entirely and must be reset; I also recently got my first-ever BSOD on Windows 7 x64 since I built this machine in 2010. Online images (Steam client store, web pages) often become corrupted when loaded and must be force-refreshed. Although the signal is reported at 4-5 bar strength, file transfer rates over my LAN never exceed 8-16 Mbps, making HD video streaming impossible and, when coupled with the stuttering, turn online gaming into a lagfest. I disabled this card in Device Manager and lo and behold, no stuttering or freezing issues; however, with the card disabled I can't test anything online.

Overall Review: The drivers for this card appear to be very poor, as is the reception. With a good connection to the router (also an Asus, the RT-N66U which I'm also less-than-pleased with for other reasons) like this and dual-band capabilities I shouldn't be having speed problems and, more importantly, my computer shouldn't be having these stuttering and corruption issues. My wife streams APrime HD video over the same wifi on her laptop just fine. I've been a fan of Asus motherboards for years but this card is a marked disappointment. Maybe the problem lies with the manufacturer of the actual network chip on the card, but still i expect better from Asus.
